Yeah!
May I request the mods or admins to check alisan1381 if he is Badger. It's like they're the same. Or is it a European thing?
Sun Sep 12, 2010 1:47 am
Yeah!
Might be a Turkey thing. Just look at Hedo Turkeylu.
Sun Sep 12, 2010 2:23 am
Iguodala is just amazing defensively! Kleiza had no chance against him in the first quarter.
Sun Sep 12, 2010 2:23 am
No. I'm not alisan1381.

The big match-up, Linas Kleiza vs Kevin Durant. So,
Durant - 38 points, 9 rebounds, 1 TO, 14-25 FG
Kleiza - 4 points, 5 rebounds, 4 TO, 1-11 FG
My prediction will come true.

Linas Kleiza was the McDwyane Shitass of the Game.

I wonder if Raptor fans were laughing or crying after seeing Kleiza.

Betters their chances of getting fellow Lithuanian Donatas Motiejunas!

I'm feeling a Turkey-USA gold medal match. If that were the case, I'd love for the home team to win it. Wouldn't that be great!
But I'm thinking it will end up: USA, Serbia, Turkey.
Yes, it looks like this for now.
Sun Sep 12, 2010 6:07 am
Really? You really think so? Why is that? Please reply in complete detail on why you think it would be that way.

What a game by Turkey. Semih Erden had the game-winning block. Badger, you will be disappointed in the Final.
Sun Sep 12, 2010 6:40 am
I won't be disappointed. Taste Semih, after say this.

This game should have gone to overtime. There was a foul in the end that shouldn't count and helped to send Krstic off. On the other hand there was a huge mistake by Serbian defence and a huge block by Erden who was the only smart Turk player who figured out the fantastic plan from Ivkovic to have the tallest player drawing defenders and the quick pf to make the backdoor move and make an alley hoop. Similar to a buzzer by Howard 2 years ago (though Serbia didn't have a Howard so had to figure sth more advanced)
Turkey will lose the final eventually like all teams playing the States did. Though they can play hard as they have the home crowd with them

First of all I'm not Badger . Yes I'm Turkish , Turkey have 70 Million people , not 1 person . Then George7 , As a person of one of the closest rival of Greece , I can understand your comments but please congratulate us for our great success . And dont be sure about to winning of USA , they always played with oppenents bad PG's . They just once played against a good PG ( Huertas) and we saw the results . We have great PG Kerem Tunçeri and fine back up Ender Arslan . And our SF can play like a playmaker too (Hedo Turkoglu) . We can play with 4 tall player (Asik - İlyasova - Gönlüm - Turkoglu ) and they dont face with this yet . And the biggest advantage for us , we have great supporters . We dont play with 5 players , we play with 16.000 people in the stadium . So We can win . And sorry for my English ..

Apologies man for mistaking you as that riot-inciting racist idiot Badger. The length of your recent post is enough evidence for me to believe that you are not Badger.

Why should he if he doesn't want to?

Shadowgrin ;
There is a mistake of translation in my mind

I want to say please dont try to excuse every success of our great team . He said ''They will dissappointed after the game with USA .'' Why would we ? We make a great success . Dont everyone agree with me ?

A fairytale run for the Turks. Should be a good final. Wonder what Turkey will try to do to contain Durant as he is in killer mode, on his way to be best player in league next season
Sun Sep 12, 2010 8:45 am
The X ;
Coach Tanjevic probably use 2-1-2 zone defence a lot . So with this we can try to stop Durant with whole defence , not with a miss match up . Because we dont have a really good defencer on SF-PF position . Maybe he can use Kerem Gönlüm much more . He is a good defencer and he uses post ups a lot , so he can try to get tired him because Coach K uses him nearly 40 minutes . But we will see exactly tomarrow what will he does .
Finally Yes , What A Big Fairytale for us . No one couldnt understand our feelings .

I did congratulate Turkey,

Is that not congratulating enough? No doubt Turkey has gone a long way in this tournament, but I don't know what they will do against Team USA. If Kevin Durant shoots the daylights out, it's over for Turkey. There were some periods in the Turkey-Serbia game in which Serbia got hot from the perimeter. It's just Serbia's bad possessions afterwards that killed them. With Turkey's homecourt advantage, it'll be an interesting game to watch though.

Kevin Durnat is the best in this tournament no doubt, Sorry but I see KD only in the One Man Show. Everything is set up for him (IMO) Turkey plays more with this not give up (TeamUp), even if they are lagging behind in. The Zone Defense of Turkey will show it already
Even if Turkey should lose, I'm very proud of them that they have done as far as
Go Turkey Go
