There's a worthy question, what NCAA Champion has delivered the most lottery picks who never made an All-Star team? All-NBA Team?

Well, there's a quartet of NBA superstars.

But a good example of college success not translating to the pros.

According to Marc Spears, Joe Smith is New Jersey bound. That'd make eleven teams for his career, just one shy of the record shared by Chucky Brown and Jim Jackson. Come on Joe: a couple more years, a couple more teams; become a trivia note!

Joe Smith signing is official.

Darius Miles will also be attempting another comeback, this time with the Bobcats.

I didn't really follow up on Miles. Did he cost Blazers a fortune by playing more than he was supposed to?

Yes, he ended up playing ten games which added $18 million to the Blazers' payroll over the 2009 and 2010 seasons.

I think he'd definitely, definitely hold the record for most teams played for by a former number 1 draft pick. Can't see anyone equalling that. Maybe Kwame Brown.

That's true, he already holds that distinction.

Miles can't be the same Miles (2002) anymore.

Antoine Walker may have a shot at a comeback with the Bobcats this season. With Shaun Livingston, Kwame Brown, Darius Miles and Antoine Walker they're certainly in a charitable frame of mind, handing out the second/third/fourth etc chances.

Glad to see Fatoine shimmying back into the spotlight. It's gotta suck to be a Bobcats fan right now.

Jordan sure is racking up a strange group of guys.

Jordan always fails at GM mode. Unlimited respect of his player career, but drafting Kwame at Wizards and signing Toine at Bobcats looks weird for me, Toine isn't retired?

MJ, please quit.
As if signing Kwame Brown wasn't fucking bad enough.

The Kwame signing isn't all that bad.
And i could certainly see Darius fit in well, though i want to see the sophomore Brown play more,he seems like a very athletic dude with a decent shot. Hell they got Dominic too, so Darius could be a decent reserve, I'm not so sure about Walker though, theres really no need for him..

Louis Amundson signed with Golden State

To be fair Walker hasn't signed yet, he'll just have a chance to make the cut. I don't think he ever retired, more just he wore out his welcome in the NBA, spent a little time playing overseas and is now pursuing an NBA comeback.

MJ's tenure with the Bobcats has been better than his brief stint in the Wizards' front office, I'd have to give him that. These signings/camp invites aren't particularly good moves but I wouldn't rank them up there as MJ's worst front office blunders as they're all fairly low risk, low-expectation deals.

The deals are low-risk unless Larry Brown decides to play Fatoine (who couldn't cut it in Puerto Rican league) starter minutes due to seniority.

I guess toine need money bad. He sounded like a decent guy for his friends and fams. Hope it works out for him.
