For that he needs to get more minutes. And you don't know how he will adapt then. Imho he is one of those guys who is pretty effective in his role but won't be able to translate into a bigger, leading role. We will see how it turns out though.

Yeah, time will tell. Players tend to only improve with minute increases (since Love played his 28 MPG or so against primarily starters). Its hard to imagine Love breaking out on a perpetually tanking franchise like the Wolves, but with Rubio in tow and a major minutes increase, I could feasibly see him averaging a Dwight-esque 22 and 15 in the 2012-13 season. Love's not a huge scorer, which could hurt some people's definition of a superstar (neither is Dwight, though he'll always be ten times the defender Love it), but the dude may be the best rebounder in the league.

Yeah, you should not get me wrong. His basketball IQ is enormous, which is one of the most important things a high level player needs in basketball. Also, athleticism is not that important for his position (I don't know if you have watched some FIBA games recently, most of these european bangers down low have no athleticism at all, only decent body mass and really good fundamentals).
But as you said it, he is hardly a scorer nor a superb defender and that is what makes guys in the NBA "star players".

Love on top and you say Rose wasn't worth the number 1 pick. Love hasn't done anything worthy of number 1 pick either from my perspective. Perhaps time will tell, but Lopez or Rose would have made more sense at number 1 more for now.

He would deserve to be somewhere up there in the list, if it wasn't for attitude or off-court problem though.

And I'd deserve to be on that list if I were a good basketball player. So what?

Don't you mean if you were taller?

Everything you say really is false.
