Jordan "Shrug" Game on "On The Spot"

Starts at 21 minutes

MJ's accurate leg sleeve is in the game.

Saw some really bad half court passing from the CPU and more overhead stuff that wasnt needed. Also noticed the arena is called "Bulls Arena" which means its "generic" (looks fine to me though). Overall though I really did like the subtle changes I saw like the collisions, new dribble animations and passing. Person playing sucked though.
Opinions are my own.

Thanks for the vid.....My question is does anyone know if you will be able to play with Jordan or the bulls team with Jordan in a regular season/dynasty without defeating all the challenges. So say if when I turn on the game I want to just put Jordan on the heat and play with the heat team as a dynasty will I be able to do that. Or do I have to go through the challenges to unlock jordan? Can I place the Jordan bulls team in dynasty or do i have to beat the challenges to do so? I would appreciate it if anyone could answer this thanks.

Great video worth waiting through that boring golf segnment. The 92 Bull's shorts are too long. I hope they let you edit the classic teams on the console version. Another thing that bothered me is Jordan was alot better than a 79 his rookie year. Jordan's rookie numbers: 28.2 ppg on 52 % shooting (Kobe's career high: 47%) 6.5 reb 5.9 asst 2.4 steals .8 blocks 85% FT. I know they want you to build him up but he was great right from the beginning.

Must complete the challenges before you can use Jordan.

But knowing PC users, someone will eventually find out how to go around that.

Still the same AI defensive reaction as in 2K9 and 2K10 when a player drives to the basket. :|
Drexler is guarding Jordan, good. Weak side help is coming, good. But Buck Williams is just standing there when Cartwright is far away from the 3 point line to be even a threat as Cliff is already there to cover Pippen. Williams should have reacted more readily than the weak side help (Kersey).

I believe at least some of the classic Bulls teams are unlocked out of the box so you can probably take them into an Association straight away.

Gameplay looked OK, I'm guessing the gamestyle is set to casual. The more I think about it though, the more I think they've got it a little wrong with the young Jordan. 79 seems a bit low considering he posted 28-6-5 in his rookie year and he'd already had some clutch plays to his name by the 1986 Playoffs, notably the shot that won an NCAA championship in North Carolina.

In 2k 79 is actually quite high since they revamped the rating system. Dirk for example was a 83 if I remember correctly and there are only a few players in the 90ies.

I don't know that much about the Jordan in the 80s though, so maybe it's a bit too low if you say that.

Oh and I love how Clyde Drexler pulls up for a drifter in this vid. It looks like creating your own jumpshot will be more effective now. In 2k10 it was hard to get your defender out of position and pull up. With some guys you got blocked way too often because of their signature jump shots with almost no air on it. The new step back jumpers and jumpshots out of dribbling look really really fluid and effective.

But the stats he achieved are applicable for the start of his 2nd year in the league. A rating of 79 for his second season can be said as low considering the stats he achieved, if that was the case.
A 79 is just about right for a rookie 3rd pick overall for the range of 2K's ratings.

Fair enough. I still think they're a little off the mark with a low clutch rating as he'd has his moments even if he hadn't fully developed his reputation by that point but let's see what it actually is.

wabenne, we can probably safely assume that Jordan will be on the 90's allstar teams which means we could take him, put him on any team and start an association. The Jordan My Player mode is what requires the 10 challenges to be beaten.
