I have his tutorial and already checked out his video. This is a v0.5 of the cyberface - his skin needs a lot of fixing. But right now, I'm concerned with the hair textures. Do I smudge the hair, copy, paste and warp it, or what?

iamamac, Best thing is clone stamp! You need create one side of hairs, then duplicate layer and rotate image horizontal.

Yeah clone stamp is a good way for blending, realistically you need to cut & paste certain parts of his hair so its going in the right direction of his head, after that save the file, re-open it & clone stamp with feather on it n blend it all in. As for his face, dude get some hue/sat....brightness/contrast, etc.
Also another tip, when you cut a face from a photo, always feather it with number 1 or 2, so much easier to blend in once you mess with the color of the face to match it up.

Thanks guys

, clone stamping helped. But I can't figure out a way to go about the shadow. Should I lasso the shadowed part and hue/sat it or get another part of his face and paste over the shadowed part somehow?

cut & paste the left side of his face...flip it horizontol, then you have two sides of his face the same, his nose is ok so you layer his whole nose back over it, this will eliminate the shadow.
