LOL, thanks. I already kinda jumped on the bandwagon in the playoffs but I'm staying true to the Raps too even though I did join the fan base following in Hedo's footsteps.. grown to like 'm. Bargs-Davis-DeRozan-Kleiza, I like that core. #1 pick point guard and there you go.. but I'm definitely following the Suns with a little extra interest hehe.

Hmmm.. One question, your roster is based on Kova's right? But the CF's of the rookie don't seem to show correctly. They barely look like them. Then I saw this [a href=http://forums.nba-live.com/viewtopic.php?f=125&t=73360&start=300]thread[/a] and it said Kova's Evan Turner looked perfect. Hardly in my case. I downloaded and installed every file on Kova's recent release ( the link you referred to ).

Could it be that there is a mix up of player codes in your roster? Or does those rookie CFs in Kova's roster not that detailed? Because Andy Rautins ( Knicks ) is black in this roster ( please, not a racist comment at all, just trying to point out ).

Not extremely detailed I guess, but the right skin colour and somewhat recognizable. They're from one of those downloads. Can't tell you which one. Try to check if you didn't miss a download-part. The numbers should be corresponding. That's one of the things I did, actually one of the first.

I think I know what's the issue. After reading this post in another thread:

^ you gotta manually change the png filename yourself.

For example, Taj Gibson's CF is called "t.gibson_png1686.iff" in one of those patches. You have to remove t.gibson_ and then put in your 2k folder, then it works. Same with Rautins and Turner and all the rookies. Remove the name from the png-file.

I think JWill was already removed and in the FA pool. I think that's fine since they signed Duhon. (Lou Amundson is also not on the Suns any more). I expect JWill to sign somewhere else (hopefully), my money is on the Bobcats but what do I know..

I'll see what I can do with the Rookie Challenge.

Nah just a Turkey fan. Well not the country nor the animal, just the player lol. That Ilyasova = 80 is entirely coincidental lol. I just like him, his game. Myself I'm from the Netherlands. Dan Gadzuric-avatar is not gonna fly though, lol.

It was too bad Hedo didn't work out in Toronto, he was kind of turned into the scapegoat there imo, by the fans. Coach totally misused him. Also, Bosh was like God there. What Gentry is doing with Nash, saying he'll play more off ball that would be out of the question with Bosh. He just had to get his numbers and get his 25 iso's a game. Horrible to watch. So as Raps-fan I'm glad he's gone, Bosh that is. I actually would have liked to see how Hedo would have turned it around with him out of the way, could have worked well imo.

J.Jack at point guard allowing Turk to play the point really, or wild idea, start Weems at 3 Turk at 1 and switch them on defense. He is pure pg type of player, DeRozan and Bargnani would shine imo.

I understand a trade was maybe for the better though. And well, I guess he wanted one himself too. Suns seems like a great fit, much better team, at this point in his career a Raps rebuild would probably take too long for him. I'm curious if he'll play the 4 though. He and Nash are going to make RoLo look like a beast though, that I am certain of.

Aha, I missed that. Thanks. Transactions aren't complete as mentioned. I missed some stuff, and was totally focused on rotations and results and stats.

I don't think that's the issue. 1. Kova's rookies don't have names in the .iff file. They were png----.iff already. 2. If ever they were, I would've changed them. Coz I installed the other download parts fine. Here is how it looks like in mine.

If you have REDitor, open the file and check if Turner has CF-portrait value 1634. And Rautins 383.
You can find them at ID 763 and 797. It's easiest to find if you check off all categories in the top of the screen except "Appearance".

If those are the only two rookies not working in your game I think you probably miss the CF's or misnamed them.
Or if the wrong figure is there change it to 1634 and 383 and it should be fixed.

Can't say when, not sure about time and also about what I'm going to change so it's hard to say. For example I just played some games to test and that made me change some more tendencies and I will continue to that so players act more like their real life counterparts.

It was pretty funny to see the Bucks stifle me on D haha. When I got an O rebound they totally swarmed me under the basket I missed almost every putback. Or maybe that's just because Amir Johnson sucks lol.

But yeah, they doubled Bargnani from like the 2nd quarter on after he had 8 pts or so. And they started doubling DeRozan after he scored a few buckets or got to the free throw line. He had 14 shooting 5 for 18 and they started doubling him! While they were blowing me out. gotta love that.

I'll probably tone down their double teaming though. When I played the Raps later with Magic they only started doubling Dwight in the 4th or so. When he had like 25-20 already. So that's interesting stuff. And I'm checking where guys get their shots, if they iso enough and stuff like that. And trying stuff out.

I want to be able to take Bogut off the dribble with Bargnani. Didn't succeed yet, Bogut is staying with him too easily.
So I made Bogut slower and I'll try another shot later, stuff like that lol. It's one of the nicest things about Bargnani, if he takes a slow center out to three point line he can cross them over and get to the rim. No other 7 footers can do that. But I want to keep it balanced so Bargnani can't be to quick.

What I did is I played with them first and then against them, to see the difference. One time Bargnani was handling the ball leading the break. That was kind of ugly lol. But I guess that's the price for letting him have some speed and handling skills.

I actually turned up a lot of big guys their ahtleticism. And Amir Johnson got a fast break dunk on me and I loved that because it's so realistic. He runs the floor extremely well, so that's why I gave him the pace. That sort of stuff leads to mismatches which is fun. I just turned up Ibaka athleticism just a few minutes ago. I just go with what comes to the surface. So there's a still a lot to do but as soon as I think I've got to a new level I'll release.

Turner is not 1634 but 3241. I've downloaded every single link from Kova ( link you referred to ) even the optional once. Again, I don't think I misnamed them coz I didn't rename them. In the Rookies pack.. they already are png----.iff. Did I miss something between the links here? BTW, all rookie faces are weird. But their portrait are correct.

That's probably old then especially if it says draft class list. My guess is people made new CF's since then and Kova re-released new rosters. I only downloaded Kova Free Agency Rosters and it was included in that. In a map called V5 Portraits CF.

You just have to make sure that you're not on the Grizzlies calendar page on the date of the crash.

no way. I made so many modifications in the roster you don't want to know. I would have to re-do it all.

The portraits probably yes.

But again, I'm focused on realistic gameplay. So I don't know what's going to be in Kova's next update but probably not Channing Frye shooting threes and that's what I want.

I played some test matches and updated hot spots. So players who love that corner three will now actually go there and stuff like that.
