I was also stunned when I first saw the numbers that Maggette's putting up, as well as his efficiency in doing so. As Martti said, I doubt that he and his Warriors can keep it up for long though.

Martti. wrote:I doubt Maggette can keep it up for a full season.

Same here. (Y) As soon as he returns to his normal self, I expect Golden State to take a big fall in the standings.

+1 on the clean layout it makes it easier to follow.

And imagine if I used the current roster with Wade, LeBron, and Bosh all on the Heat. That's three of the top ten players in the MVP running, all on the same squad. Talk about unfair though. Anyway, I appreciate the compliment dude. (Y)

Good to hear, because there are a ton of games that I played a while ago and still need to make recaps for, so hopefully I can get those done and start posting them soon. I won't be doing any write-ups for those recaps though (except for an article on a trade that I recently made) because there's way too much I have to do in order to get caught up with things here.

He can be fairly inconsistent at times though, but I know what you mean. And it's always a good feeling to beat a playoff contender, like the Hawks, on their home floor. Hopefully we can take this confidence and build on it in our next few games.

Thierry. wrote:Gil with 5 dimes, good.

But still not good enough for an All-Star caliber point guard IMO. I wouldn't mind if he had no assists all night though, as long as we continue to win some games.

You a Hawks fan? But yeah, Horford was a beast for them and he played some very efficient ball. 56% shooting wasn't bad for Johnson on the other hand, but I expected to see a bit more efficient game from him.

Anyway, I'll try to have the next recap (V.S. Chicago) posted some time later today.

Superb night by Agent Zero. I'm going to assume that Gil passes the ball a lot, but his teammates can hit the shots.

During the first quarter of that game, I remember thinking that I could break Kobe's 82-point game record because Gilbert was off to such a good start. In the end though, I didn't even come close to that milestone. It still feels great to dominate with a player like Agent Zero nonetheless. And Thierry, if you meant to say that his teammates can't hit the shots, you're right for the most part. Don't even get me started on how bad of a shooter Josh Howard is in this game.

In a few minutes, I'll post an article revealing a pretty big trade we made with the Heat. Oh yeah, this is my 1,000th post too.

- Wizards Ship Thornton and Boykins To Miami, Obtain Expiring Contracts

    Image

The Washington Wizards and Miami Heat have agreed to a deal which will send reserves Al Thornton and Earl Boykins to the Heat, for expiring contracts Dorell Wright and Shavlik Randolph. Both Thornton and Boykins were recent acquisitions for the Wizards, but neither have seemed to quite fit in during their time with the team. Al was a very streaky player, averaging just 5.6 PPG on .500% shooting, while Earl was extremely frustrated with his playing time and role on the team. There's logical reasoning behind that too, because he hasn't seen a second of floor time all season with Washington. Miami has agreed to play Boykins, though with limited minutes due to having other talented point guards like Carlos Arroyo and Mario Chalmers on their team. Similar to Thornton's stat line, Wright is averaging 6.2 PPG on .448% shooting this season. Dorell on the other hand, has spent his whole NBA career with the Heat since the 2004-2005 season. And like Earl, Randolph hasn't been activated once this season either.

Yep, as Martti said, you traded for expirings but Dorell's a player I would keep around. Randolph, screw him

I like Al Thornton IMO, but because of Dorell's expiring contract that's good for you (Y)

I like Al Thorton the player but i can do sh*T with him in 2k , good trade imo

^ I actually find the opposite. He's turrible in real life, but he was one of my best guys when I used the Clippers.

The worst 2k player to use imo hands down goes to Peja !
