Jennings' passing carries Bucks over Clippers
12/03/11 - Bucks (99) - Clippers (96)

The game-clinching steal + And1.
Brandon Jennings was more of a scorer early on, but racked up 7 assists in the fourth quarter, working well with Warrick who was quiet before Jennings became the distributor and the two led the Bucks over the Clippers in LA.
Michael Redd scored 25 points on an efficient 10-16 shooting and Shane Battier scored 14 points, a season-high. The bench was pretty much non-existent, as they combined for just 13 points.
The Clippers were led by their back court, as Gordon and Davis combined for 51 points and 15 assists. Chris Kaman had 12 points and 7 boards, Blake Griffin had 12 points on 5-5 shooting, all of which were dunks. Josh Childress had 12 points and a career-high tying 15 rebounds.
But like Milwaukee, the Clippers had pretty much no bench, other then Larry Hughes who had 7 points in 9 minutes. Nate Robinson, Antoine Wright and Cardell Slater all however brought hustle as all managed to pull down 2 offensive boards in their limited minutes.
Brandon Jennings took over with his passing, but the Bucks never managed to get ahead by more then 5.
With a tad over 45 seconds left, Josh Childress was in-bounding the ball to Baron Davis, but Brandon Jennings was in the passing lane and deflected the ball and he and Chris Kaman started a foot-race for the ball. Kaman had about a 16-17 feet lead, but Jennings caught Kaman up and picked the ball up and put it in, drawing a foul on Kaman also. He would miss the free throw, but the Bucks had a 5-point lead.
Bogut rebounded the Jennings miss and was fouled quickly too, he missed both free throws however. Bogut was 2-6 for the game and Jennings was 3-7 from the line.
Davis's jumper narrowed the lead to 3 with 30 tics left. Jennings tried to put the Bucks up by 6, but missed a three-pointer. The Clippers screw up the final play and couldn't even get a three-pointer up, firing a 2-pointer with 3 tics left and missing it.
Griffin was a bit late to block this dunk.
Griffin dunking on Warrick on the next posession.

Battier did well for you that game (with Bogut stinkin' things up); of course solid dub-dub by BJ - nice win

Sounded like nail-biting last minute that game, especially with free throws. Nice win though, Jennings and Warrick are a really great combo.

Chan had a big part in my W against the Lakers and score 4 points then. He hasn't made a FG yet though.

Bogut was really quiet, Warrick was much more active and made the cuts so I could give him some lobs.

They look like Stockton and Malone early on.

I hadn't played Live in a long time and sucked with free throws.

Lots of trades! Will Sit start in NY?
Wed Aug 11, 2010 6:23 am
Lamrock, probably. Devin Brown was starting before, so there's not much competition.
And I have to make some deals. Is it just me in Live 06, or does the CPU do less and less trades every season? (In my Heat one I believe they didn't do a single one in 2 seasons (2nd til Playoffs) and 1 off-season.)
(These are all dbf trades, I tried simming a season if there any errors, there weren't any so I'm glad this worked out.)

Yeah I always noticed that about Live dynasties. I remember in The X's Bobcats dynasty, he seemed to be the only one making any moves of note. In my associations, I look at the rumor mill, and make about an eighth of the deals happen, with close attention to realism and fairness.

We are two. I turn CPU Trades off and then make some deals myself, two each month and at least 5 or 6 coming the trade deadline.

Sometimes works out that way, definitely. I was surprised to see a few teams trading their lottery selections in my Dynasty, including the Bobcats who swapped Felton for the Hawks' selection (whose generated name escapes me at this time).
Good win, too.

I remember my Lakers 06 dynasty about to turn to Clippers was derailed by dbf editing... terrible as I had put so much effort into that one. Had a super hyped rookie guard who was going to challenge Kobe for the title of the man in Los Angeles as a Clipper... and that legendary lakers team of Kobe, Kwame, Ron Ron, Boozer... pretty much predicted Artest and Brown being brought to LA.

And then the Warriors were gonna have Baron Davis, VInce Carter and some other freaky player... good times.
Anyways, thanks for the trade. Time for the takeover to continue!

That's why it pays to make a backup.

i kinda prefer that the CPU doesn't make many trades in Lv06 that way i can size up teams strengths/weaknesses and make the best/fairest trades for teams who are struggling or making a title run and want reinforcement; i take rare trades that the CPU does make as a happy accident lol
rather have it that way then having to reverse a bunch of nonsensical trades (as seems to be the case in later versions of Live)
Thu Aug 12, 2010 10:35 am
It's also preferable to the problem of too many trades in NBA Live 10, especially uneven trades, trades involving superstars, or uneven trades involving superstars.
Thu Aug 12, 2010 11:10 am
You'd think that the Lakers were crazy making those deals, but seeing as they are struggling in the early stages of this season, it makes a lot of sense. Sweet win against that other L.A. team too.
Thu Aug 12, 2010 11:21 am
Nice win against the Clippers. Suns is really struggling for now

Wonder what will be these trades affect the Lakers performance

Hurry up and post my Knicks debut.

Actually I already played the game vs NY. I checked like league leaders n stuff afterwards and my PC crashed like it did when I was playing 2k10. It really sucked because even though I lost, the game was very intense and exciting to play.
You'll have to wait a few days, I might buy a new video card in the coming days. I'd like to get a new pc or a laptop, but I don't have the money for that.
Fri Aug 13, 2010 11:56 am
Did you save before the crash?
Did Sit have an awesome debut?
