Kris, You change the PlayerID to -1. If you want to get rid of all of them could you use the global editor and set the PlayerID to 0, then -1? You will have to double click each PlayerID box to make it recognize the change.

OK, guys, so, i'm back here from the village.
First of all, thanks to those, who have been answering the questions, while i was absent, as well as to those, who have purchased full version of REDitor.

And now i'm ready to answer your questions.

1) Can you enable copying a word (outside of reditor) and able to paste it on reditor or search bar.
2) Also, how bout pressing Shift+Enter to "Search Up"?

1) This works for me in 1.1 (and even in 0.6 (0.5???) i suppose), though, i'll remake it a bit to make copy-pasting to/from Search bar more convinient. The principle is standard - Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V or using Pop-Up menu.

Most likely, your original roster (before editing) already contained midget coaches, as midgets bug can't take place in Free version even in theory...

I fill in the paypal details - comes up with "Socket Error # 10060 - Connection timed out"

In this case, you just need to send a manual e-mail to REDitor@ya.ru, containing Payment details, Registration Name and your Product ID (can be found on Help -> Register... dialog box).
This is a known issue. It happens from time to time, most likely 'cause of a firewall. I'll try to cope with it a bit later.

Has anyone an idea how to perform the ACL Injury from Perkins with the REDitor in the Association Mode? In the "manage Roster" Menu its all fine, but when i start an assocication he is completely healed.

You need to purchase Player or Full license first to be able to open FXG-files.

I have a registered copy of the editor, but everytime I try to open my association file I get this error. Please Help!

Upload your file somewhere, please. I'll take a look and make a quick fix.

Actually, that's not neccessary. You can just save and reload the roster, as the changes are applied, just the "visual stuff" isn't updated after performing Global Editor to Free Agents' PlayerID column.

As damonrulz has told, you just need to open Free Agents tab, then use Global Editor and set PlayerID column to "-1".

My next plans on REDitor:
1. Probably make a quick new version with minor changes, which were requested of late.
2. Work on interface and DB-Engine during September, preparing for 2K11 games. This will also probably led to height-bug being fixed.
3. In October start decoding 2K11 games roster files, so at the end of October you'll get a nice (convinient) editor with the first portion of editable things.

Save before quitting by pressing Ctrl + S or using File -> Save (Save As...)

You have that error, because your user doesn't have the full rights of the folder, so the program simply can't write to file. If you're unsure of how to give your user full rigths of the folder, try to install the program to other folder than Program Files.

Here's my story.
My myplayer crashed with 28 games left in the season. I had backup saves at various points. So I set the minutes to 1 per game (via t-search) and basically fast forwarded through the remaining games to see if I could just start over from a previous save. No dice. It crashed at the same point every time (when I played portland). So I look at portland and the only problem I see is that Camby is injured and they have no other center on the roster. I figure this is crashing the game. Extreme frustration ensues.

What does that have to do with this thread?
I scour the internet looking for a way to fix the game. The only .cmg editor I find is vlad's in this thread. But I am not going to spend 20 bucks on the small chance it will help me salvage my my player mode.
So I download the 1.0 demo anyway so I can at least look at the damn data.

So I make one last attempt to salvage the mode by attempting to hex-edit Camby's injury data. I see he has 177 injury says left. So I open up my save with hex workshop and search for "B1" (177 in hex). 1353 hits. I search "00B100" (figuring the players next to him are uninjured). 36 hits. Much more manageable. Then I open an earlier save, where camby has 179 injury days left, and search "00b300". 40 some hits.
I compare this to the list of 36 matches to find any matching lines. There is only one. Now I'm excited. So I open up a third save, one where camby has 231 injury days left (which would be E7 in hex). I goto the location that was a match between the other 2 files (10 AE63), and what do I find? "00E700. Amazing. I change the E7 to 00 to reset camby's injury days to zero. I load up the savefile, but it is corrupted because the checksum is now off.
I use another tool I downloaded in my search, crc.exe made by osiri, to reset the checksum. I load up my save with little hope it would work, but to my great surprise it does.

So I fixed my save. I couldn't have done it without use of your free demo vlad, so thank you.
I applaud your zeal for capitalism and all the time you put into developing it, but I won't pay for it, sorry.
I've used roster/save editing tools for games from madden to mvpbaseball to nbalive for years and never been asked to pay for it. I've done a small amount of my own modding and shared what little I accomplished. Most of those other programs had useful frontends for trading players, setting lineups or rotations, sending players to free agency, trading draft picks, importing/exporting data, none of which your program can do.

I appreciate your capitalist spirit, your time and effort, but you are essentially charging for reverse-engineering the work of the people at 2k sports. It would be like me solving the new york times crossword and trying to sell the answers online, but on a larger scale.
You deserve compensation for your hard work, but I resent the insinuation that 20$ means nothing to an american. We've got bills to pay just like everyone else in the world. It isn't worth 20$ to me for a tool to edit a game I paid $20 for (and am wasting productive hours on anyway).

It is the nature of the internet for people to not want to pay for anything, from music to movies, games, software, porn, etcetera.
You are clearly a talented guy, and there are alot of people in the computer industry who play video games. Showing your work could help you land a sweet job somewhere, but you are severely limiting your audience by charging for it.
