Clippers send Brown in exchange for Celtic's Allen
December 2, 2009 - Clippers new GM Justine Crewhead made his first move by sending bench warmer Bobby Brown in exchange for athletic Tony Allen of the Boston Celtics.
First month had been passed, Crewhead finally find a solution for a backup two guard, Allen who played just 21 games this season with Celtics is averaging 3.4 points, 53% FG and 45% from trifector. Allen's athleticism is been a great key for the Celtic's championship run few seasons ago. "He just fit to our play system, I'm glad I pulled out this trade successfully, I feel great with my first move as the GM." Crewhead stated.

Playing for his sixth NBA season, Duhon is now averaging 6.9 points, 9.6 assists by playing as a starter point in Knicks, now maybe he will play behind Nelson and boost Magic's bench. "It's great to be here, I just want to play 'till postseason and playing with Howard, Carter and Nelson is awesome, I'm here to help." Duhon happily said.

LOS ANGELES - Clippers looking strong as of now and shows signs of a postseason team as they beat the Rockets in a aggressive offensive tempo game. After successfully closing out their first month, Clippers begin their first game of the month of December by winning against the Rockets, 105-85.
Los Angeles Clippers controlled most of the game and dominate the Rockets. The Clippers maybe looking hot again for a streak and this win results to two game winning spree. Unexpected player for the Clippers led for the win, Steve Blake who had team-high 24 points, 10-15 from the field including 3 three-pointers out of five attempts. Blake has been producing great numbers since then and really a great role player for the Clippers. He stepped up his game after Baron Davis was fouled out early in the fourth, somehow Davis finished with 19 points and 12 assists. All of the starters for the Clips scored double figures. "By the team's performance now, I can say we are really focused, getting win against a much better team is really helping to uplift our hearts to gain a playoff berth." coach Mike Dunleavy said.
The three quarters seemed to be a close game and contested, but when the fourth quarter begins, the Clippers killed the Rockets, Blake put on a show by draining 2 consecutive three-pointers and a breakaway layup. By then, Rockets woke up by the duo of Yao Ming and Kevin Martin who combined for 44 points. Ming also grabbed 10 rebounds. By the height mismatch, Ming destroyed Clippers bigmen. Super rookie Blake Griffin was held only to 11 points and 6 rebounds, same as Chris Kaman who scored only 13 points. "We never got down on ourselves. We always stay confident, they guys coming in made big plays defensively and we didn't give them second-chance points, but in the end they keep on fighting and scoring on our face." Aaron Brooks said who had 15 points and 4 assists. Swingman Trevor Ariza struggled that night and only scored 4 points, Luis Scola had 10 of his own.
The Rockets fell to 11-7 after the loss but still leading in their division, while Clippers locked up the second place in their division.
