supposed graphics breakthrough

i thought this article was interesting but how many live players think this will have an effect on the quality of this or other sports games?

It's all good, but this article is kinda old man... It's from December 2002...

I doubt it has any effect on NBA Live and the other EA sports games because they are limited by the consoles.
