Re: Cuban asks for probe into big 3, Cleveland and Toronto d

If there is an issue here, it'd have more to do with free agents "spying" on behalf of a team. From Stern's latest comments, it sounds as though the league isn't too concerned that anything fishy went on.

Of course not. If anything was fishy, it's Cuban's brain that looks be mal-functioning like Shaq at the free throw line. The Heat wasn't even in the serious discussion untill Bosh made the decision. It was a tough decision for Lebron as well and I can understand why it took so long for him to decide. It looked more like last minute change of mind, rather than tempering being the decisive factor in his decision. It's just stupid for Dan and Mark to have acted in the manner they did. Especially for Mark Cuban, what the fuck is his problem against the Heat, or any of the big 3. He's just being a dick and whiny bitch. This guy was going to criticize Lebron anyways, no matter which team Lebron joined, if was any other than his own, the Mavs.

Mark Cuban will always be Mark Cuban. Can you imagine him with his mouth shut? Not a chance.

Well, Cuban's an owner. He's going to look out for his best interests the same as anyone else and like I said I can see where he's coming from. There's nothing wrong with asking questions and wanting fairness. But here, I'd say he's being overzealous.

As for Gilbert, he has the right to be upset at how everything went down - he did just lose LeBron James, after all - but rather than fuming in private and handling the situation in a more professional and PR-friendly manner, he took the low road and let off that steam in public. As I said in the other thread, he should've listened to cooler heads and released a statement that wasn't so vitriolic; something along the lines of "We're disappointed but we're going to move on. Thank for your support and please keep supporting us as we start a new chapter". That would've been fine.
