NLSC Forum Teams Project

So, i wanna continue the development of JaoSming's idea.
As the first version, i suppose, we should make a roster, containing 2 extra teams: NLSC Administration and Top NBA 2K10 Contributors.
Why not less than 2? Because most of us are relatively small guys, and i'd like the roster to be quite realistic (real height, weight, skin tones, bodytypes, etc.), so these 2 teams will be able to play against each other.
Why not more than 2? Let's make 2 as the first version, and then we will have an opportunity to make other 28 teams to start Association. 30 teams require 360 players (12 each), so it's quite a number.

These 7 guys are those, whom i personally would choose as some of Top Contributors. Of course, i will add only those, whom the majority will consider to be the most deserving, so there are 5 placeholders more + the first 7 can be replaced. We will be able to add other guys to next versions, which will include more teams.

I will write more details within some next days, as now i'm a bit busy and it needs to be thought over more.
For now, just comment and make suppositions about the idea.
Also, i would like to know the opinion of respected guys about the roster of the second team. But, please, don't propose to include guys, who mainly develop their projects on other forums (baballs, nbajam, etc.), as we will be able to contact them later and add 2-4 teams from each such a forum to the roster in future versions.

I take all the responsibility for this project, though, possible help is always welcome.

WTF? Why do people even care in which team they will get, i will be happy if i even get in any team, because well people don't give a shit that i and fn11 have fucked up our lifes, sitting and doing patches for you. If we don't get the respect, i won't even try to say to other people that they should vote for me, because i know that the Contributors will be people that are in a good friendship and they won't even look what they have done and all, so i won't even do anything to be in any team, this is like a lottery, if someone are better friends they will get in the team, i know that this message won't even change a thing, but well who know's maybe someone will say something about it I've still liked jao's idea to get people in random teams, so they don't fight for them

Let's release at least something "fully done" (not just random players with real nicknames) at first, and then we will add the players and randomize the teams. I also don't want to make "teams of friends". If someone wishes, he will be able to reassign players later on his own wish.

i could do jersesy and logos. if people wanna get designing and stuff. also. should make it a total conversion kinda thing. make nlsc courts and stuff too

I dont want to take anything away from Vlad, I support this idea fully (hell, I dont even want to make teams from here, I want to make OS members, Pastapadre members, other community websites)

But remember, my roster can be used for anything you buggers want to do with it. So if you want something different, I'm not stopping you from making it.

Well i don't even care what people are in the teams, i'm just sharing my mind with other people, maybe they could state some more suggestions
Because there are a lot of patcher's that contributed something in making the game better, but well it's no problem if i won't even get in any teams roster, i'm a basketball player and it's kinda funny to get a 62 overall rating, because of the post count in jao's roster, but it's still fun to play and all, and it's easy to get the ratings better in the game so yeah

I will use it only for blacktop mode. Anyone will be able to do himself and upload to 2K share.

This is a nice concept i do hope we could also have our own cyberfaces ingame

do you think its a good idea to have a team that consist of a couple of admin, cf, jersey, court, roster and other patchers. just a suggestion

You can discuss anything further, i'll tell more details today or tomorrow, so everyone will be able to create himself, and i'll put everyone together then. After that we'll discuss jesrsey/logos/etc.

We should be posting informations about ourselves so that the roster maker can try to fill in the required fields(height,weight etc.) once he is making the players..so it will be like:

Kris, you're right bro and probably some more information. or maybe each one can create a roster of his own then the main roster maker will just copy and paste the whole info to the main roster.

i dont think kris is right. cos then we will all be under 6 foot tall and point gaurds.. making this roster completely horrible

So creating more than 2 teams and adding more patchers is probably the solution. if we all are under 6ft, it doesnt matter at all..

Sorry for the delay, guys, as i was quite busy, harvesting cherries at my granny's garden.

So, what i propose is:
1. Everyone creates himself, making everything as realistic, as possible.
2. About the position: you can set it not according to your height, but according to the position you play, e. g. in College team/among friends/etc. No matter, how tall we are. ))) i'm 5,10 personally. We will add more teams later.
3. If you have a CF of your own - use it, otherwise set it to the real player's CF, which looks similar to yours. Still, if you like, you can place a random face, but that's not the best solution.
4. Skills. So, arrange the skills in the most realistic way to your real skills. The limit is 2698 skill points, so we all will be about ~90 overall, that will make the game not boring.

When you have yourself created, you should send to vlad-2727@ya.ru : a roster + your player's id OR Excel-file, containing the sting, copied from REDitor. + CF (if it's not in the original game).

After that i'll make a roster with all the players and we'll discuss further steps.
