Amidst all the reports from "experts", "insiders" and "sources" that Bosh is going here and there, we have a fairly credible source
suggesting where he probably won't be:
General manager Bryan Colangelo says “it’s likely” that free agent forward Chris Bosh(notes) will leave the Toronto Raptors.
Colangelo tells radio station Fan590 in Toronto that the Raptors still hope to keep Bosh, but “it’s becoming more and more clear that that’s not going to happen.” Colangelo says if Bosh does want to leave, he will try to work a sign-and-trade arrangement that could help both sides.
Seems they've resigned themselves to making the best of the situation.

hopefully he'll end up with Chicago.. as well as LeBron or maybe Wade if possible..
Tue Jun 29, 2010 12:22 pm
It's time to move on for Bosh. Too bad for the Raptors, they just couldn't work it out. Perhaps, sign and trade is still an option for them hopely.

Even if Bosh wanted to stay, the Raptors would be foolish to re-sign him, putting them over the luxury tax for a perennial 35-40 win team.

the lebron-wade-bosh three way split idea they were discussing for miami becomes interesting at this point..
Thu Jul 01, 2010 1:16 am

But just a tad disappointing for Bulls fans.

wasn't something similar said about the celtics the summer they traded for ray allen and kevin garnett, only they went on to record the largest year-to-year win percentage jump in nba history, two trips to the nba finals, and a title?
Thu Jul 01, 2010 11:57 am
they signed a couple key free agents cheap after the 3 got there, thats exactly what miami would need to do
Thu Jul 01, 2010 12:07 pm
once a core like lebron, bosh, and wade is secured (or honestly, even two out of three from that group) then i'd imagine there would be a good number of ring-seeking roleplayers and journeymen who would be interested in playing for the heat. someone like richard jefferson, who just opted out from the spurs, or ray allen, who the heat are supposedly pursuing in free agency, would be interestingly suited for that support purpose too.
Thu Jul 01, 2010 12:10 pm
yeah if any 2 of the 3 get together there will be key vets willing to take a cut. not sure ray allen would go so fast though. he would probably wait to see what happens in boston first.
Thu Jul 01, 2010 6:31 pm
Which is nuts...cuz everyone knows Boston sucks.
Thu Jul 01, 2010 11:10 pm

Fri Jul 02, 2010 12:51 am
If he's a Laker fan, he'll bite you. If he's a Boston fan, he's probably old & will take the beating.
See what I did there? Did you? Huh? See it? Clever nah? See? Haha. Lol. Right? Right?!
Fri Jul 02, 2010 2:51 am
Yes, Jackal, that was very clever. Never would've thought of it myself.
