Nets-Pacers blockbuster

Fri Jun 25, 2010 8:43 am

Adrian Wojnarowski's Twitter wrote:Pacers and Nets discussing trade to send package including Danny Granger and 10th pick for Devin Harris, Yi and No. 3 pick, sources tell Y!

An interesting deal, Wojnarowski usually posts good info.

C Brook Lopez
PF Carlos Boozer?
SF Danny Granger

What? Are they readying to make a blockbuster signings (dude they will have a 25M salary cap if they go like this, after this Nets will have a roster that it is fulled by hyperstars)?

This is probably dead, as the Nets picked Favors already.

3-4 year after NJ (my thought):

C: Brook Lopez/Tyson Chandler
F: Carlos Boozer/Derrick Favors
F: Danny Granger/Trenton Hassell
G: Kobe Bryant (FA)/Terrence Williams
G: Eric Bledsoe/Stephon Marbury (can return)

WTF Kobe?

Re: Nets-Pacers blockbuster

Every team wants a 37-year old Marbury.

Badger is right. Kobe would be damn stupid NOT to leave the Lakers who always get lessor end of the deal in officiating and who's also a small market team.

Stephon Marbury and Kobe Bryant?

As much I think that Badger is a visionary, Trenton Hassell would probably be the starter on that team.

Absolutely not. Kobe would have to be on drugs to go to NJ and why the fuck would you want Stephon Marbury four years from NOW? He peaked about 6 years ago. and I want Tyson CHandler staying in CHARLOTTE.

Why? Its my opinion. What I wrote:

Well your opinion is really far from reality to happen. Why would any team would sign Marbury 4 years from now. Kobe I assumed you know that he will be a Lakers forever.

Also to add 3-4 years from now there will be no NJ in the NBA.

Re: Nets-Pacers blockbuster

it's not even a comment worth responding to. i like the nets, but in this offseason they'd be lucky to get anyone huge. that's probably going to be a privilege for chicago, miami, or the teams that have talent currently to build around in addition to their huge cap room.

Heh. Brooklyn/NJ?

That starting five of yours for the Nets will happen, and only those five players will eat up the salary.

Re: Nets-Pacers blockbuster

Mon Jun 28, 2010 2:56 am

Well, if that happens to the Nets then this is going to be the Pistons in 4 years:

C DeMarcus Cousins (He's going to wear out his welcome in Sactown, Dumars will offer a couple draft picks and buy him low, he's an absolute stud in Detroit.)
PF Tim Duncan (Career is almost done, he sees a chance to win a title out East Karl Malone-style, comes to Detroit obvs.)
SF LeBron James (He's only signing a three year deal this off-season, this is a great pick up by Dumars!)
SG Joe Dumars (Yes, the team has brought back their HoF SG from the 80s. He's done everything he can in the front office, so a return to playing, while also being a player-coach, is the topper to his resume'.)
PG Rodney Stuckey (2012-13 NBA MVP)

:rimshot:

If that was a joke Badger, it was awful. If it was serious, well, it was awful as well.
