Well, he is learning from the current best dirty team. The one the Magic is facing right now.

It's what old people have to resort to to win Shadow.
Look at their fans and you'd know that.

Disagreed. If the Celtics blow this series, the Celtics suck more. But speaking of sucking more, will you stop sucking more?

Well... He certainly is a quick learner then. Out-dirtying the whole Celtics by himself isn't something a noob can do. Poor Davis...

I don't have a problem with Howard being so physical (maybe overly so to some) in these past few games. He's been taking tons of heat from the media for not having that killer mentality, and while he can't really carry a team offensively like other elite big men can, he can be a force out there defensively and that physicality has added to it.
Rather than throw opponents shots into the third row, giving them another shot at scoring, he's enforcing his will down low. Stupid shit like that is what the Celtics eat right up. Rough and tumble defense? I don't know we'll see, but I don't think that physicality is something Rondo is liking, which may be one of the causes to his down play these past few games.
If the Magic continue to play like this and Vince Carter finds a shot, any shot, they could do this.

Good to see the league rescind the second technical on Perkins. Bad news for the Magic of course, but definitely the right call by the NBA.
Fri May 28, 2010 12:14 pm
Good. That second tech was retarded. I don't care what it takes I just want Orlando to go DOWN
Fri May 28, 2010 12:50 pm
i think the celtics should come out and body slam howard on his neck.
Fri May 28, 2010 1:50 pm
I don't mind physical games, in fact, I love it like in 90s. But hurting others is another story. Karl Malone was dick with that. Hope Howard won't turn out to be same. The elbow on Perkins seemed innocent however.
Fri May 28, 2010 1:56 pm
Doc should tell it to one of his lesser used players in the playoffs. It's time for The Landlord to collect Howard's rent...
Fri May 28, 2010 2:10 pm
Maybe Howard will generous with rent money and tell him not to come around again until next year.
Sat May 29, 2010 10:59 am
Tell me I didn't just see that.
Sat May 29, 2010 11:14 am
Rondo took a pretty hard fall there. He seems to be alright though. Looks like Boston aren't letting this one go back to Orlando, but still plenty of time left.
Sat May 29, 2010 11:15 am
Even with Rondo potentially hobbled, the Magic are playing like shit.
Sat May 29, 2010 11:27 am
I'm not sure they're even trying.
Sat May 29, 2010 11:30 am
Good.
Finish it, Boston!!!
Sat May 29, 2010 11:31 am
Still a long way to go, after what happened in the Suns/Lakers game yesterday it's a bit too early to turn the game off, but the Magic sure don't look like they're making a similar comeback right now.
Sat May 29, 2010 11:39 am
Heres hoping Celtics close this out.
About Fucking time Nate gets some time and scores a bit,he ain't getting any time with Boston which is pretty sad,but i guess its understandable when you got one of the best point guards in the league, and a star shooting guard (Knicks didnt have any of those).

A strong finish to the first half and good start to the second could make it closer, but it doesn't look like it's going to come from anywhere. Guarding Nate would be a good start.
Sat May 29, 2010 11:43 am
Looks like Boston will going to close out the series...
Sat May 29, 2010 11:51 am
Robinson had a great run there. When he hit that runner, I thought of one of Nash's shots against the Lakers yesterday as well.
Not too bad for the Magic at the half, Carter came alive which helped but it's still Boston's game to lose from here on out.
Sat May 29, 2010 12:38 pm
Yeesh. Went for a run at halftime knowing I'd be back to catch the tail end of the third quarter and the fourth, hoping things would have improved by the time I got back. Instead, I guess we find out tomorrow whether it'll be Lakers/Celtics in the Finals or there'll at least be a Game 7 out West before the Celtics' opponent is decided.
Sat May 29, 2010 12:43 pm
"Look, Carter penetrating worked. Let's post up Howard!"
Righto then.
Sat May 29, 2010 1:58 pm
That'll do it. Credit to the Magic for not rolling over in Games 4 and 5 to salvage a little pride, but congratulations to the Celtics for making it back to the Finals. For a team that looked like it would limp into the Playoffs and become an afterthought following the second round back in April, they've had a great 2010 postseason.
Sat May 29, 2010 2:14 pm
What's wrong with Rashard? Last year, didn't he play well against the Celtics?
Sat May 29, 2010 2:16 pm
Rashard played all 6 games with a viral infection
