My goodness, what is going on here? First, last year they had two 1st round draft picks, one of them was Ricky Rubio. And now this year they have an amazing 3 1st round draft picks, and 2 2nd round draft picks. This team seems to really be building for the future, i'm starting to become a fan of the wolves, because i love when teams have two or more picks in the 1st round, especially in drafts like this. Minnesota is in a very good position this year, does minnesota have enough cap space to sign a star, maybe not a superstar free agent, but a star free agent? And then on top of that, i think i heard that the new jersey nets have 3 1st round draft picks as well, wow!

Stockpiling draft picks isn't really a new strategy.

Yes, but nobody will want to sign there.
The Nets only have two first round picks. (They do have the first pick of the second round however.) Memphis has three.

Yeah, miami they said has like $41 million to spend, I strongly think that the heat will go after a guy that they tried to get a while ago and thats unrestricted free agent carlos Boozer. Miami needs a big man, I think the best teams as far as cap space is concerned, the teams that are in the best position as we all know is miami, new york, new jersey and chicago. What a summer this is going to be, most of the teams with cap space, at least the ones in double digit figures have $15 million or more to spend, i'm kind of a heat fan, and i'd like to see the heat go after Boozer, or if dallas can't or doesn't resign Nowtizki, then the heat can go after Dirk or Bosh. By the way, has anybody found who the five teams are that Chris Bosh says he prefers to play for? He said he narrowed it down to five.

Dallas can acquire a max contract player as well by trading Dampier for them.
And
yes.
The list of five teams -- Toronto plus the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat and New York Knicks, sources said -- was given to Toronto management in case the Raptors want to construct a sign-and-trade deal

Good to know, though I doubt the Raptors would be willing to take Luol Deng.

Hes not worse than Hedo was this season is he?
That would be like...a negative black hole.

I suppose not. I guess he'd be preferable to losing Bosh for nothing in return as well. Still, I'm not getting my hopes up just yet.

They're obviously making up for lost time, or in this case, lost picks.

I was hoping Minnesota would somehow land the first pick. Three point guards in the last two years would have amused me greatly.

They've done it again! Maybe now they can win 20 games!

this mady my day!
i hope wolves make a wise decigions on picks and not waste them like they did last year, it's just so frustrating to see people waste such treasures...
and as a huge heat fan i want my team goeas after Stoudemire and Johnson, and a trade for a pg. i love Bosh, but his knee is a big issue, he was sidelined almost half of the season, and it could be just a begining...so i thinks anyine agrees that Stat is a better player than Bosh right now. Boozer is a third option for heat, if Miami takes boozer they should trade Beasley, and this won't gonna happen, because Beasley (for $4.5 mln) gives good game and he will develope even more, and boozer would cost much more, like $14-17 mln and for what? for 20/10 ??? noooo, thanks! he is slower and doesn't have 3pt range. so miami need good C and keep Beasley.

I don't think it was Bosh's knee that sidelined him for half the season. It was his ankle post all-star break and then he broke part of his face towards the end of the season.

Since when was 12 games almost half of the season? And as John mentioned it wasn't even his knee, he was sidelined by ankle/illness (7 games) after the All-Star break and then 5 games at the end of the season because of the facial fracture.
