ArticleA person familiar with the decision says the Philadelphia 76ers have agreed to terms with TNT analyst Doug Collins to become their new coach.
The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the announcement has not been made public. The person said the official announcement was likely to come Friday.
Terms were not immediately available.
It might work out for a season or two.

Coaching the Sixers would be good for Collins, he could turn Turner into the next Pippen.

Probably that's why they're signing Collins so he could find that love for Pippen in Turner. It comes together.

i rather listen to him during the games than watch him coach again. not sure if thats a knock on his coaching or a compliment to his commentating

I would rather have Jeff Van Gundy than him. Heck, even Mike Woodson would do.

Thats the best they could do? Well probably. if i was a good coach i wouldnt want to coach the Sixers either.
