http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/knic ... N6hnk42bDOKnicks forward Wilson Chandler was busted on a pot possession charge after cops pulled him over for driving with no headlights in Queens, police said.
Chandler, who turned 23 last week, was carrying what was described as a "small amount" of marijuana when cops stopped his 2010 Mercedes-Benz near 94th Avenue and 213th Street in Queens at 11:30 p.m., police said.
Cops decided to search Chandler after they smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle, police said. They found a joint under the seat and a bag of pot in the console of the car. A search uncovered five more small bags in the trunk.

That's a little surprise.
He didn't show any other indication of being "naughty"

What's so bad about smoking pot?
I bet alot of players in the NBA do smoke weed.
Thu May 20, 2010 5:17 am
Dumbest shit. Smoke at your house, or not at all, not out on the go.

It's just what Pdub said.If you want to smoke,do it on your house, not out.
It's really dumb move

I just smoked pot yesterday (at the park!) and somebody took a picture of me doing it. My NBA career is over.
Thu May 20, 2010 7:20 am
Damn... Here in Canada, people smoke weeds walking down the street and cops are careless about it. It's one of the biggest industry here in BC that government is shushing about. Sorta double standard that smoking is legal while selling is not.
So the news isn't really a biggie to people like me.

No, it isn't. The government is just mad that it can't acquire taxes on the selling. (Or in the case of Canada. On the buying of seeds. On the growing. On the harvesting. On the distribution and further manufacture. On the driving around of the dealers to their buyers. And then of the selling.)

Somewhere, Cliff Robinson is reading that and shaking his head at "small amount".

Just another NBA player caught with marijuana. It's just stupid to smoke outside, not to even mention getting high and drive.
Thu May 20, 2010 2:03 pm
A former NLSC mod would strongly disagree with your last point.
Thu May 20, 2010 2:28 pm
Actually driving while high off of mary jane isnt that bad. Its drunk driving I dont reccomend. Wilson Chandler is actually my fav player on the Knicks. That really sucks for him. Got to be smarter bro. They should honestly just go ahead & legalize the damn thing already though.
Thu May 20, 2010 2:31 pm
And have our schools and inner cities overran with drugs and crime? I don't think so.
Thu May 20, 2010 2:40 pm
You legalize it then there will be no need for dealers and what not. Ive never heard of anybody harming anybody else while high off marijuana. People just relax when theyre high off of marijuana. That is why some people use it for medical purposes. Its crack, cocaine, heroin, methaphetamine that causes violence.

First of all, it is a well known fact that marijuana use directly leads to use of those other worse drugs as it is a proven gateway drug. 99.9% of users of those other drugs have used marijuana.
Second, you are wrong, and this just from the first page of Google:
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/crime- ... e-tha.htmlhttp://www.spokesman.com/stories/2010/a ... uana-case/http://www.rockdalecitizen.com/newtonne ... 16269.htmlThird, all those other drugs are illegal because it is well known they are bad, marijuana is illegal with them, indicating the government has used top men to prove a direct connection. Governments just don't outlaw things without proof they are bad for the citizens.
Fourth, because it is illegal this makes it a crime.
QED: You want all our children to become drug addicted criminals who bring murder into our schools.

keywords "while high off mj." Those 3 articles have one thing in common. Theres no proof the suspects were high off mj while committing these crimes. It is not often a crime is committed while high off mj other than the fact youre smoking it. In fact it decreases aggression and the speed of processing thoughts. Scientific proof.

Deny, deny, deny. Spin, spin, spin. Any excuse to reject and deny the proven facts.
What's next, defense of the marijuana smokers unapproved and unrestrained Satanic Circuses?
Every single one of them running away. Not respecting authority or taking responsibility for their criminal actions. Likely rejecting Our Lord and Saviour. Creating anarchy and societal breakdown.
Another consequences of Satan's Plant.

Proven facts? I dont think so. Many scientists have proven these so called facts to be myths. In fact this website has many facts and sources.
http://www.drugpolicy.org/marijuana/factsmyths And our gov't is not perfect at following the principles of our faith either. If u want to go there... Why is pornography legal?

Pretty weird that I see this here, cuz in my English class today, we were talking about whether people are sorry they did something or just sorry they got caught. Long story short, the guy was sorry he got caught texting.

Keep believing the propaganda of criminal organizations. From your link:
The Drug Policy Alliance (DPA) is the nation's leading organization promoting policy alternatives to the drug war that are grounded in science, compassion, health and human rights.
Our supporters are individuals who believe the war on drugs is doing more harm than good.
DPA projects and initiatives include:
Medical Marijuana in New Mexico
Campaign for a Healthier New Jersey (Syringe Access)
In other words, criminal sympathizers who are probably criminals themselves. They want to end the War Against Drugs and For Protecting Children and make it easier for children to gain syringes and marijuana and use those syringes to inject heroin and PCP. And make it so criminals can't go to jail for their criminal acts (like they themselves have likely committed and are trying to escape charges from).
Pornography is legal because of massive amounts of lobbyists who also want to corrupt our children, but this time into depraved sex addicts. If these two groups get their way all our children will be drug and sex addicts with AIDS and other terrible diseases.

And this is just more examples of how they want to turn them into not just sex and drug addicts, but gay sex addicts. While destroying the God-given institution of marriage.
This is why we need two fences on both borders with a No Man's Land mine field in between. To keep the drugs and heathen Satanists from Mexico out, and the drugs and homosexualists from Canada out.
Anyone who doesn't support protecting children is a probably Satanist Homosexualist who wants to rape our children with sex, drugs and heathen culture.

It's clever use of wording there. He didn't say that 99.9% of marijuana users use other drugs. He's saying the 99.9% of the ones who have tried other drugs have also used marijuana (presumably before trying the harder stuff).

Well yeah. That one's my favorite fake statistic ever, which is why I immediately drew the conclusion that benji was merely taking the piss (which he's confirmed with his increasingly ridiculous posts). Though the AFL's recent drug results may overtake that one - at least for sheer balls - positive drug tests dropped from 0.98% last year to 0.89% this year. Ignoring that they ran so many more tests this year that the 14 positives - actually more than the 12 the previous year - still managed to be a lesser percentage.
Lies, damned lies, and statistics.
