The lottery begins soon on ESPN, so I figured we might as well have a thread in case anyone wants to post some comments live as well as after the fact.
An overview of the odds:

Sacramento: 156
Golden State: 104
Washington: 103
Philadelphia: 53

Memphis: 7
Toronto: 6
Houston: 5

If Utah gets a top 3 pick, I wouldn't be surprise. Here in the Philippines we have a commercial that Utah can actually beat the odds

Kind of odd they'd promote that.

Nets, Sixers and Wizards will be the top three picks in some order. Danny Granger and Michael Heisley's reactions were the funniest.

Hoping it's either Brooklyn or Washington.
Off-topic, don't you think Bron would look better without that white background, Andrew?
Wed May 19, 2010 10:26 am
could someone post the videos?

And it's Wizards picking 1st! What a mentor for Wall in Arenas.

Nets owner didn't look too happy

Probably, but I didn't do the jersey swap, I just cropped it and resized it after it was sent to me.
Meanwhile...Wizards get the top pick, Sixers get the second and the Nets will pick third. Nets obviously have to be hugely disappointed, suffering through that terrible season and challenging the worst record of all-time to finish with a top three pick, yes, but certainly not in the position they wanted.

I can remove it if you want...

me, the instant the Warriors slipped wrote:: Wizards drafting first
: then Sixers
: Wizards have to get the first so they can draft John Wall to play next to Gilbert Arenas
: because it's a terrible idea

Videos of what? A bunch of white guys, a white woman and some random players sitting in suits as a guy opens envelopes?

Sure.

Granger was just pissed because he doesn't understand odds and legitimately thought they could move up and put his head down. Heisley was just like "yep, about right" sarcastically. I'm sure some lunatic will post it on youtube if you really care about something so lame.

benji, I don't know, Wizards are trying to rebuild so I really don't know where would Arenas go.
I just watch a video earlier where the Wizards president was being interview, funny the Wizards president said that they would win the lottery.

You're implying that somebody else even wants him.

Who wants a player that has the potential of shooting the whole team?

The Bobcats wanted Stephen Jackson. (Obligatory: Having guns != likely to shoot your teammates.)

He's going to be paid $80+ million over the next four years when he hasn't been a useful player since 2006-07.

I wonder if the Wiz would actually seriously consider Turner? Arenas is a shooting guard playing PG and Turner has a lot of things in his game that could make him an alright point guard (massive amounts of turnovers too, but Wall has that same problem).
It'll be an interesting storyline to watch. I found the unnecessary interview with Wall afterward pretty funny. Mark Jones kept asking him how he would help the Wiz and how he would dance in Washington and Wall had the most confused and awkward looks/remarks during the whole interview.
Time for the Pistons to trade Tayshaun, Summers, and the #7 pick to the Hornets for Collison and #14. I wish ha.
