I'm not sure I'd call what happened in the first round a "struggle." The Suns won three of the games by 29, 19 and 19.

Their offense can easily break the Magic and Cavs defense, not sure about the Lakers defense though.

Can someone provide how the Lakers defend on the pick and roll?

If the bigs aren't too lazy to step out, they'll be all right. They usually get burned though.

the way the Suns are playing now that may be true for Cleveland. Phx has had their troubles with Cleveland this year but they have gotten way better since then. But Orlando not so sure about that. I almost forgot Vince Carter plays for Orlando. I would love to see him finally win a ring. He deserves one.

I'm more worried about Fisher vs Nash match up. Having two great big men in the post I think is a threat to Suns 3 point shooting offense, since one of them can leave the paint to help out weak side. I didn't think that was the case in SA, as TD was pretty much was abused whenever he tried to guard the perimeter. He almost made me thought he didn't deserve to be on Defensive Team.

Maybe, it's me being Canadian even though I dislike the Raptors, but personally, I don't see how Carter deserves a ring. Only thing he deserves is a sucka puncho from Torontonians. The way he handled whole situation was very disrespectful and he completely shyed away from all expectations for any teams he played for, untill now. But then even Hedo became a great player playing alongside Howard, Lewis, and Nelson.

Why?

Sure the whole Toronto situation was messed up. IDK maybe Im being biased bc im a die hard Tar Heels fan. Hes Vince how could you hate the guy . He potentially couldve been one of the best if it werent for all of his injuries.

In contrast to the Suns' hopeful news on the possibility of Robin Lopez playing: Lakers' Bynum says knee injury getting worse

Andrew Bynum says his injured knee gradually is getting worse, although the Los Angeles Lakers’ starting center plans to keep playing on his swelling leg in the Western Conference finals.

Bynum disclosed his right knee’s worsening state after running in practice Saturday with the Lakers, who open the conference finals against Phoenix on Monday night.

“It’s something where I’ll have to continue getting treatment and pump the swelling out,” Bynum said.

Bynum discovered a small tear in his meniscus after straining his knee during the Lakers’ first-round series with Oklahoma City. After two strong second-round games against the Jazz, the accumulated swelling prevented him from playing effectively in the defending NBA champions’ last two playoff games in Utah.

He should just rest his knees for a while, I hope Pau and Lamar can fill on Bynum

PHOENIX IS WINNING RIGHT NOW!!! I only saw the score online for about five seconds by googling nba. It sucks, I can't even watch the only game I actually felt like watching all week, because my STUPID cable just doesn't work!!

Suns got off to a good start but the Lakers have come roaring back. A few ill-advised shots by the Suns haven't helped matters.

Lakers up at the half. Lamar Odom is having his way on the court. Great first half for him!

Lakers also playing decent defense. Was pissed off Sasha decides to foul Grant Hill. He's an idiot. We will see what happens once they cool down...

A couple of nice sequences for the Lakers. Kobe has had a wonderful third quarter... he's up to 33 points now I think... Lakers up by 17.

This one's turned into a great game to watch if you're a Lakers fan, but I was hoping for more competitive games in both Conference Finals series. Hopefully these first two games aren't a sign of things to come and both series are more closely contested the rest of the way. And if they're not, hopefully the NBA Finals will make up for it.
