The run falls short, Magic take Game 1. Howard finished with 9 blocks.

That sucks, I wanted Howard to tie or break (mostly tie) Olajuwon's 10 block record.

Surprising he didn't, having racked up the eight in the first half.

I really like the Cats defense. I was only watching the game for a quarter or something like that and despite allowing the Magic some open threes you really have to like how Charlotte rotates on defense. It also seems like they put way more effort into D than other teams. It just looks like that. You have guys like Felton or Wallace who stay in front of their guy and try their best to deny him.

Great prediction by z02. He has a point, he actually saw the game.

Jameer Nelson is destroying the Bobkittens. Looks like a sweep's coming.

When a playoff team is dependent on Larry Hughes to be the primary scorer from the bench and also on Nazr Mohammed and Theo Ratliff for their post presence offensively and defensively, that team will eventually be swept.
I wonder when Jameer will get injured again like he usually does...

I'll take Game 4, second round.

Conference Finals game 1 as this is the first possibility to play the Cs and get knocked out by a elbow from KG or a knee from Pierce or maybe just get a body check from Glen Davis after a buzzerbeater or a thrown punch by Rasheed. He could also be hit by a thrown towel from Brian Scalabrine or a brick shot from Tony Allen.

So I "found out" a few days ago that the Magic only used 12 players all season. This is a pretty incredible indication that the team is fantastic. (Especially considering who these players are.)

Been looking at past teams and those who play tons of players are generally horrible, and the fewer they play the better.

And they also wound up with the best SRS.

If we don't get a Cavs-Magic rematch we'll all be the worse off as humans. I literally cannot think of a situation where both teams built around a single matchup. (The Knicks' being stupid does not count.)

sweep! 99-90.

good job on the Bobcats for making it to the playoffs. :)

Re: (2) Magic Vs. (7) Bobcats

May be Bobcats ended the playoffs in 4 games, but its great too because it is their first appearance. They only need some experience...

Re: (2) Magic Vs. (7) Bobcats

As the Thunder are currently demonstrating, experience as a deciding factor is somewhat overrated. The Magic are simply a better team and were able to exploit their advantages. I thought the Bobcats would take a couple, certainly at least one but clearly I didn't give the Magic enough credit.

Re: (2) Magic Vs. (7) Bobcats

Tue Apr 27, 2010 5:12 pm

I'd say they lost because of their complete and utter lack of decent offensive players. I thought Charlotte would steal a couple based on Orlando's slow playoff start, but it is not the case, Grizzlies fans (if there are any) can rejoice at the fact that they still aren't the only franchise without a playoff win.

Re: (2) Magic Vs. (7) Bobcats

Jordan's got work to do but it wil not be easy and I think improvement won't come anytime soon. The team needs a shake up in the core, but most of big contracts run till 10/11. This team is a first rounder at their best if stays the same.
