Are you able to access those saved files on your PS3 hard drive along with your other saved data? If so, it should be just a matter of copying them to a USB stick and then over to your PC like a roster file.

Yes I did that, but it seems it's not as simple as it should be. On my USB instead of just an image file, there is:

PS3 > SAVEDATA > BLES0063708002020WESTBROOKBLOCK > 4 files in the folder. (An icon file, PARAM.PFD, PARAM.SFO and SYS-DATA)

I used to do that with FIFA 08, but the quality wasn't too good.

Sounds like a digital camera is your only offline option.

Yes you can, but if you select "Season" as the mode under the Dynasty settings, you'll only play one season instead of being able to play up to 25 seasons.

Is there any way of knowing what the overall levels the regen players in the draft will have? All the ones I have gotten seem to be in the 65-55 range.

The whole letter system confuses me too. Is there a guide to the draft system somewhere?

Not in advance, no. However, generated rookies that are projected as being late first round picks or second round picks are going to have fairly ordinary ratings. When the draft depth is "strong" however there might be a few more gems available later in the draft but generally speaking if you've got a low pick, their overall is going to be in that range. Of course, if their development potential is high then they at least stand a chance of becoming solid players.

EA should make it easier.

On FIFA 10 you send your scout out to find players he tells you an approximate overall rating (e.g 60-75)
And the more you upgrade your scout department, (There are 10 levels), the more accurately he can tell you the rating of the players he is scouting.
Why couldn't they do something like that on Live 10.

Traditionally it has more or less worked out that way (though the overall has never been displayed pre-draft, in-game) though with Dynasty Mode in need of an overhaul the staff situation doesn't work quite as well as it should in NBA Live 09 and NBA Live 10.

No, it has nothing to do with being scared of anything or anyone. The PS2 was simply phased out because it's superceded technology and while some developers are still releasing PS2 versions of games, others are leaving it behind. As for the PC version, the sales figures weren't what the higher ups wanted to see and "business challenges" have also been cited as a reason for the lack of a PC release, which we've taken to mean concerns about piracy in addition to the low sales as well as the fact that not everyone has the same specs when it comes to PCs. When EA pulled out of the PC market and 2K entered it with NBA 2K9, many of us were hoping that would encourage EA to return but it hasn't happened as yet.

In the draft when it says 'NBA comparison - Derrick Rose', what exactly does that mean?

Height, weight, game style? I'm guessing not overall rating

Yeah, the comparison is more about the skillset than the skill level; the strengths and weaknesses will be similar but unless they're a top prospect, their ratings aren't going to be near as good.

Hi guys.. i just bought live 10 earlier because i want to try it.. i have a question though.. how do i update rosters? does it automatically update when im connected to the internet? whats the use of dna code? cheers!

The DNA code you enter it when you select Dynamic DNA or Dynamic Season. It will update automatically once you entered your code and you got Internet connection

Also note that the DNA updates won't affect a Dynasty game in progress, but will be put to use in Dynamic Season mode.

Hi. One more question from me.
Do you recommend to download the latest patch or keep it as the game is.
'Cause I've heard a lot of negative things about the patch. I dunno what to do?

If you don't play online and you're enjoying the game as it is out of the box, you might want to give it a miss.

Could anyone give me some tips on playing solid defence. Should I defend with only one player or should I guard the ball handler at all times?
