A spur scores for the celtic

Did anybody see a game between the celtics and the spurs this year where, Brian Scalobrine shot a deep shot then he missed. But after the play Dejaun Blair got the rebound and scored two points for the celtics? Even some of the spurs coaches laughed at this, what do you all think about what Blair did.

The player closest to the basket. In this case, it looks like Marquis Daniels would've been credited.

Wow, hilarious, but I guess that can happen to rebound-hoggers.

It can happen to anyone. Accidents happen, the ball gets fumbled. It has nothing to do with Blair hogging rebounds or anything like that, the ball just slipped from his grasp and unfortunately for him, went in the Spurs' basket.

Those ain't nothing, like, really.. When I was like 11 years old and we had a basketball competition (between different grades or so, nothing really special, extremely unimportant competitions and stuff) and well, I subbed in and the other team was shooting free throws. I had 0 points and I think it was the 4th quarter. I grabbed the rebound after a missed free throw and scored it in my own basket, because I thought that was what I was supposed to do and I thought I scored easy 2 points off a rebound. Then I saw everybody starting to laugh off real hard and I realized I just scored in the wrong hoop, oh wow.. I was benched immediately and didn't return til' the end of the fourth quarter for like another minute. I was trying to get the ball all the time and actually score so I wouldn't finish with, um.. -2 points, haha.

Fortunately that hasn't happened again ever since and probably never will, funny thing to look back at.

Things like those have to happen at least once in everybody's basketball career

Lol! Wow Shawn Marion, that must have been when he was very young wow! That was something to see, i've always been a fan of Marion.

Embarrassing. On a side note, good to hear Jim Fagan's voice, he went a long way in making NBA Action a great recap show back in the day.

Yeah, that was weird. Unless he decided to attend that game in his Lakers uniform...call it a hunch, but I have my doubts.

Same deal, mishandled the rebound and it got tapped up and in.

All of them are innocent mistakes but it'd really funny and upsetting if it came at a crucial timing.

Just happened to Rasheed Wallace against the Bulls, bailing out Brad Miller.
