It's out on Steam, but there's no change log posted on the Steam News yet.

It's a damn shame us DD users had to wait and watch disc users play with the patch 2 weeks after they did. I'm done ordering DD. Steam treats they're customers like stepchilds.

.....and at the end of that looooonnnggg waiting, we Steamuser don´t have the small Courtlogos around the paint (e.g. Bulls, Rockets) anymore, lol. Steamversion is now not longer the US-Version and not the internaitonal Version, it´s a now a version between the two.

Yes, and Valve knows it, so they probably made sure that it worked properly, taking the extra week to test it.

How do I know if my steam version is up to date?

If when you run 2K10 you can connect to the NBA Today/Living Rosters servers.

If it is not updated then it will say that the version of the game is outdated or something like that.

If it isn't, then right click on it in the Steam games list -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity of Game Cache...

Make sure you are online and connected to Steam. This may take some time depending on speed of your connection and computer.

Now that 2K have finally released the patch after months of waiting, there are some quite notable improvements.
As well as those listed in the patch description, one major thing that I've found to have improved is the physics of the gameplay. The players don't do massive hang time space man jumps anymore and the ball moves a little more realistically. It seems that physical entities like gravity and momentum have been recalculated to a more realistic level.
Also, the specific player animations seem to be alot more suited to the particular situations, particularly when it comes to close contact situations like blocking shots or drawing contact on the shot. The players also appear slightly smaller compared to the size of the court, which again is more realistic. General movement as a whole is more fluid and believable, which has been a problem in basketball sims over the years, something that EA Sports never seemed to be able to get right but 2K have come as close to perfecting the in-game movement as we've ever seen.

Some of these things may seem small but it all adds to the realism, which is perfect for alot of us being the realism junkies that we are when it comes to our sports video gaming.
While I'm still having a great deal of fun with 2K10 I'm already getting excited about what 2K11 may offer, and while I support the idea of EA releasing NBA Live on PC again, they would certainly have their work cut out for them to meet the benchmark that 2K Sports has set.

My game will not update, I have tried to start it and it hasn't prompted me to downlaod anything. i evenre downlaoded it from steam again and nothing? I tried to uplad my franchise blog and it still won't let me. ? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Are you sure? If you downloaded it from steam again, it probably loaded the original and the update at the same time.

I thought so as well, but I went to my franchise and it won't let me upload my blog. I read that was one of the fixes. About to check if the ref bounce passes it to my free throw player. Thanks for the response.

I was actually able to before as well. But I'm not able to upload my association blog which is what I was really looking forward too.

When you say you were able before you are just talking about the nba today/living rosters right?

I am also extremely disappointed with the blog thing. I never got it to work (before or after the patch).

When? You would not have been able to connect to them during the period between the patch was released and the update was released on Steam unless you used the work around patch.

I have no idea about the upload thing and can't find anything on the 2K forums. Does it give a specific error?

NBA Today was working for me since the day i got the game, there were a few days that it didn't but over-all it worked. The franchise blog was the 1 thing I was looking froward to and they fucked that up.

I've never even heard of that feature.

I know what you are talking about know. The only thing I can see related is the "blog to 2Ksports.com" when you view a day on your calendar. A dialog box pops up that is blank and gives you the option of Yes or No. Like you said, it doesn't work.

The option doesn't even show up on my existing association, only new ones.

I cannot apply patch, i got European version i downloaded 1.1 patch for EU version and i get this :
"The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the WIndows Installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program. Verify that the program to be upgraded exist on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch."
And yes i put european version of exe. WTF? Any idea?

skoadam, make sure you've uninstalled the TNT camera patch if you installed it as well

Has anyone experienced stable, lag free online games?

I'm having trouble connecting to a match, (when sending an invitation, rarely ppl except. Or team-ups "locating match" just won't locate anything)... last time i was able to connect it was not laggy but slowmotion.. pretty annoing....

Same error I got got pre-patch. WTF?
