Have hardly have seen any nba basketball as of lately. Wow is George Karl's absence killing the Nuggets right now? It may be several other things like Kenyon Martin's injuries but its been a while since ive seen them struggle this badly. They are fifth in the west now. And may be playing a hot Phoenix Suns team if they dont fall any further. But i hope they can atleast get back to the third spot b4 the season ends.

I suppose it has to factor in at some point. Not much that can be done though, Karl has more pressing issues to deal with before he returns (though it seems he'll be back in time for the Playoffs).

I really feel the loss of K-Mart is the bigger issue. He just adds so much on the court and the Nuggets really miss him.

Other than the Knicks loss it's not like they're getting beat by crap teams.

I suppose, seeing that they have had a tough schedule this month and most of their games have been on the road.

This.

Also, these guys play basketball for a living, so I just can't imagine the coaching really having that significant of a factor on them. As long as they have Adrian Dantley there, there's really no excuse for their slump other than the absence of Kenyon Martin. They're playing on TNT next, so I'll be looking forward to see how they play against another playoff-bound team.

I think his absense is affecting them a great deal. Coach Karl pretty much personifies toughness and determination getting through what he's been through. As as great as Adrian Dantley is, every player on the team just seems to look up to George and are really receptive to what he has to say.
In saying that though, they are missing K-Mart a lot too. He was a beast before he got injured.

As much as I like Karl, he's a fairly mediocre coach. Losing their best defensive player in K-Mart's gotta hurt though.

KMart needs to calm the fuck down

I wish there was a video of K-Mart going off.

I'm sure both are the factors for Nuggets' struggle. Coach not being able to attend sure do affect players. Just not the same. On top of that, K-Mart was having a good season so him missing the game also has to affect the game. Anyways, that prank wasn't funny and K-Mart was always more of an aggressive person, so what can you expect. Imagine your buddy pouring drinks all over your car seats by taking your car key while sleeping. That is crossing the line.

If had the money kmart did to get it cleaned/buy a new one? No it's really not crossing any line.
Those spilled drinks are mine...DAMN YOU DRIVE THRUS AND YOUR NON CUPHOLDER FITTING CUPS
Sat Apr 03, 2010 1:42 pm
Just hold the cup between your... Oh, um.
According to the article the guy who did it (J.R. Smith's driver or something) paid for it to be cleaned/repaired/whatever. So Martin didn't even have to spend any of his millions.
Guy was an idiot for using BUTTERED popcorn.

Does anyone know the extent of the Birdman's injury? He went down pretty bad in the game against Portland
