Tough loss Valor. Looks like your team full of old guys, Laker rejects and Asians didn't hold up in the post-season. You'll get 'em next year though.

Could have been worse. He could have had a quadruple double.

Epilogue
"And there is the final buzzer, The Wizards make the history books as the fourth team in NBA History to defeat a number one seeded team as the eight-seed, winning four straight games after dropping the initial 2 in New Jersey. They blew the Nets open in this decisive game 6, 116-96." announced Kevin Harlan "Gilbert Arenas and the rest of the Wizards has had a terrific series, they will move on and face the Miami Heat in the second round"
Leo Lai was frustrated, disappointed, and above all else, angered at the team's second straight first round exit. He made for the locker-room but was greeted by none other then his much hated rival James Harden.
"Oh! here's the 'star' of this losing team!" taunted Harden "Well, I'm off to the second round, have fun fishin...wait, do you even know how to fish?"
"Fuck off" Lai shot back at Harden while continuing towards the locker-room "Get out of my way asshole"
Harden had blocked Lai's path and continued to taunt him "What you got? Going to go home and cry to your momma about it?"
It was too much for Lai, as he took Harden down with a right arm hook, and jumped on him, landing several good blows before being restrained by teammates and separated from Harden.
"Leo, calm the fuck down" stated Yao firmly "I am as mad at this as you are, but you've got to let it go"
Lai ignored Yao and the rest of the team and walked off the court. He would skip the media and returned to New Jersey alone.
-----
"Leo, we are very disappointed at your actions at the end of game 6" Toni Kukoc said "You can't go around doing things like that, I know he was taunting you and it was hard, but now the media is blowing this up, and you skipping media didn't exactly help either"
Lai did not respond, he simply listened. It was a week after the Nets got eliminated and the team was having individual debriefings.
"That was a good hook though" added Dennis Rodman, grinning "Nice hit"
"Dennis, that's enough" Kukoc stated firmly
"Now, the board has concluded that you are to receive this first, and finalwarning. Anymore signs of trouble and you're out. It was a terrific season you've had but a disappointing end. Personally i hope you'll be able to rise above this and become a better person next season." Concluded Kukoc as he waved Lai out of the office.
Lai stayed quiet the whole way and had put on a poker face during the entire meeting, but inside, he was boiling over with anger.
"FUCK THIS SHIT" he yelled as he drove home "First and Final Warning….WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THEM!? THAT BASTARD HAD IT COMING"
Suddenly, something caught his attention in the rear-view, as he noticed a speeding car coming up from behind. This wasn't unusual if not for the empty lanes on both sides of Lai's car.
"What the..." Lai wondered out loud and pressed his foot onto the accelerator, pulling distance between himself and the unknown car that's following him.
Suddenly, the lights in his rear-view disappeared, Lai turned and saw that he was being followed no more, he smiled.
"About goddamn time" he thought as he turned back to face the road ahead.
But there was no road, In-front was a dead-truck stopped in it's tracks. Lai tried to veer away from the lane but it was too late.
Next thing Lai knew, was a loud crashing sound and his world went completely black.

Afterword
A big thank you to all of my followers, readers, as well as anyone who happened commented in this association. I couldn’t have made it this far without all the support that you’ve shown.
Special thanks to Sit who suggested me to write this.
This has been by far the most successful (actually, the only one that has been completed) dynasty/association story I have done. Looking back at the past, I started my ‘career’ of dynasty making with a lousy Fantasy Dynasty that was very short-lived, before eventually moving on to making a half decent one with the Bobcats in NBA Live 08, a dynasty that, with major controversy, managed to squeak into the Dynasty and Franchise Hall of Fame, an immense honor for me. But it wasn’t a successful one in my opinion, as I never managed to finish a whole season completely due to technical errors experienced during the playoffs that led to the closing of the Dynasty.
I moved to this section following the release (and eventual purchase) of NBA 2K9 for PC, and began with my favorite Chicago Bulls, and seemed to have grasped some fundamental concepts in association/dynasty making. Did a (in my opinion) pretty good job with making Lamar Odom (who is one of my favorite players) into a ‘household name’ as a member of my Bulls.
Unfortunately, that also closed down eventually due to technical issues, before I manage to finish one whole season.
This one, however, was different. Not just in the sense that I got past not only one, but two whole seasons, but also because I had developed further writing and presentation skills and, despite the lack of realism (creating my own alter-ego into the game, making a lot of trades), had reached and passed beyond even 11000 views, and is currently pushing 12000. This is something that I had never even thought of achieving, despite it being only a fraction of success that our (almost certain) Hall of Fame caliber association/dynasty writer Sit’s A Legend is Born II has achieved.
I really loved the process of making and maintain this association/dynasty story, and I hoped you all have enjoyed it as well. I regret to end this, but feels that it’s time to ‘turn a new leaf’, or as Sit likes to say, start Fresh.
Above all else, I would like to give a shoutout to Sit, Lamrock, Martti, Thierry, Clutch, dare, Dee24, Mark, Hova, The X, as well as anybody else that I’ve missed out on but have been around, I do apologies if I did miss you as I simply could not remember everybody (especially with the amount of school work and exams piling up on the list at the moment). I really could not have managed this feat without you.
Now, I am (clearly) not as good as writing stories as Sit is, nor do I have a great sense of humor like Lamrock, and even more so, unlike Thierry and Hova, I do not possess any kind of graphic skills. However, my love for the game of basketball (as well as the love for literature and the English language) will be what motivates me to continue making dynasty/association stories, and I guarantee that in the coming future, a sequel - ”Road to Glory II”, will make its appearance; and the quality of it will be an accumulation of everything I’ve learnt thus far.
Again, Thanks to All for making this a success
