There isn't anything too surprising. Reggie Evans at one is a bit odd, considering Evans is bad at basketball (ok, he's a decent rebounder), but the rest is a lot of foreign flavor and front-court players.

Evans being on there isn't too much of a surprise. When you're a scrappy, physical defender who has been known to grab an opponent's wedding tackle, you're probably going to make the Dirtiest Players list.

Why isn't Dwyane Wade on there? Sure, he isn't a dirty player on defense, but with his bullshit style of play, he pretty much singlehandedly led a lousy Miami Heat team to a 2006 championship.

Good to see Kobe in the list... MJ was never dirty like Kobe... anyways that's 2 lakers in that list already but where is Derek Fisher? His elbow against Scola should have earn him a place in that list.

I think what we've got to remember here is that as far as the unusual picks are concerned, they're coming from a sampling of the NBA players themselves so they'd be experiencing things first hand that we don't really see. Kobe's inclusion was a little surprising despite a couple of suspect incidents but clearly there's some physicality there that we're not aware of as spectators. The blatant incidents that make the SportsCenter reels (like Bruce Bowen's kick or Evans grabbing Kaman) are what stick out in our minds but no doubt the players had the little things that they have to deal with on a regular basis in mind when they cast their votes.

Where is Rajon Rondo on that list? Nobody remembers the numerous dirty plays he made (and got away with) in last year's playoffs?

Well, that's what I mean. There was that hard foul on Brad Miller and the altercation with Hinrich, but aside from those incidents his opponents probably don't consider him to be that dirty, based on the little things we don't really see that the players who did make the list obviously do.

Rondo, Kendrick, KG, Pierce all had their shares of dirty plays I think. Also LAL has quite a few of those dirty players I think. After all, they're two championship teams of recent. Maybe people pay more attention to the players from those two teams.
