Do you agree with western conference starters

Thu Feb 11, 2010 8:21 am

Do you agree with the western conference starting lineup for the allstar game? In particularly the starting 4 and 5 spots? In a way i can understand why Chris Kaman isn't starting because he's probably not good on the offensive end as Zack Randolph but, i don't like Pau Casol as the starting center, i think he should play his normal position at power forward, i know he can play center but still, i think he plays better at the 4, but in a way i can understand the lineup. But i love Chris Kaman this year because his shooting has improved a lot it seems. Did the fans/voters get this lineup right? Also, i'm so happy to see Steve Nash in the starting lineup, he's been very good in his passing this year. Personally i don't seen either the east or the west blowing each other out this year as i thought in the past, because even before last years game i thought the west would blow the east out. Also who's bigs are better this year in the allstar game do you think? The particular matchup that i'm looking forward to seeing are two defensive guys going at it, Chris Kaman and Dwight Howard, eventually they'll have to gaurd each other. Now i don't know the whole lineups of either team but i have a question, did Andrew Bynum make the allstar game? If he did or did not, do you think he deserved to participate, love to hear some answers from all you experts. I'm still growing in my knowledge of the nba.

Gasol isn't starting; Amar'e is. With Nash overtaking McGrady late in the voting, I'd say the starting lineup for the West is comprised of players who can all certainly be considered All-Stars. Complete rosters for the East and West squads can be found here.

Amar'e was a bad pick, but he's still better than Kaman (and Iverson)

So you went off on a rant without knowing who was even on the team?

And Kaman a "defensive guy"? He's consistently been one of the worst defensive big men outside of his shot blocking over the last five years.

Kaman's not even a top five center in his conference.

I would've bitched about Dirk losing out to Duncan, but that was always justifiable and the Mavs have shit the bed fantastic in recent, and Dirk hasn't been the same since the encounter with Landry's elbow.
