Chapter #6 - Garbage time All-Star.


Roy was spectacular, scoring from everywhere on the court.

Oh snap! It's rookie of the month Parmer.

That's right bitches. I was presented the Rookie of the Month award before the game against the Blazers and was all hyped up for the game against the Conference rivals.

But when I came in, the score was 20-2 with us trailing. I was still happy over my award and scored the ball. I had 10 in the first quarter and when I was in, the game was quite close (17-18).

But the second quarter was just as big of a disaster as the first so we were down 66-39. The Blazers shot 6-7 from three, 65% from the field. Brandon Roy had 17, 4 and 4. I was still hopeful of a comeback but the locker-room was very quiet. Most guys had a look that this game is lost.

I tired to cheer guys up that we can do this. Just buckle down on defense and stick to good shots. Coach was with me and so I earned a start for the second half. I kept scoring, but so did the Blazers.

I finished with 24-10-7 but we still lost by 20. Rudy and O.J struggled and that was our biggest worry. They shot 11-26. Our bench, apart from me was scoreless on 0-8 shooting (that damn Jaric again). He and Sam shot 0-5 and had 3 turnovers in 15 combined minutes.

We head to Utah for the next one. They are third in the West and we're playing in Salt Lake. That place is amazing. I hope that we can grab a win, but it will be tough.
