Life Before the Big 3
Since my very first dynasty had to end so shortly due to a shredded NBA Live 10 disk (Learned the hard way to not move a XBox 360 while it's on), I thought I would make a new one centered around the young and inexperienced 05-06 Celtics.
TEAM INFO:
Since I updated my rosters using the NLSC 09-10 Roster patch, they're might be a few things off during this Dynasty such as the replacing of the Seattle Supersonics. Still, all the rosters and salaries should hold true to what they were before I updated, so nothing major will affect the validity of this Dynasty.
DYNASTY SETTINGS:
Most of my games are going to be simulated, although I might occasionally intervene a game in the 4th if I think I can change the outcome for the better.

Good luck with the Dynasty.

As for the Seattle Supersonics, you might want to use this:
Back to Seattle 06It will restore the Seattle Supersonics art/data quickly and easily without removing anything else added by the NBA Live PC Project.

Ainge fired, no word on replacement
Celtic GM Danny Ainge, unexpectedly fired yesterday for mediocrity.October 3th, 2005, 8:55 PM EST Boston, MA (AP) - It was announced today by the Boston Celtic organization that they no longer required the service of 3 year GM Danny Ainge. Danny Ainge,
responsible for many controversial moves during his employment was disappointed in this news. "I don't understand what I've done to deserve being fired"
responded Ainge as he explained the lack of time he was given by the franchise to turn it around. "I feel that I've made smart draft choices over the time I've
been here and they haven't given them enough time to pan out".
When asked about his successor, he only had this to say: "Listen, if they think they've found someone that can turn this team around in 3 years,
then that person deserves the job!" So far, there has been no news to who will take over as GM.

Thanks for the support and the file! It just doesn't feel like 05-06 without the Sonics.

Yep, I always enjoyed watching Ricky Davis play. He contributed a lot to the C's back then (which is good, since they had very few players that could.

The way I see it, Big Al and Gerald Green are the future of my franchise. If I form a Big 3, it will most likely include them and whoever I can get in free agency.

So Pierce is not in your plans?
Mon Feb 01, 2010 2:58 am
It depends on how well he holds up during the next year or two. Last time I did a '06 dynasty like this one, Pierce started to decline in just one year in, which is definitely not good for a team that needs time to develop.

Ok. As you're planning to make Gerald Green a part of your future, I'll follow. Good luck!

Good luck man, will follow!

"The Chief" promoted to GM, replaces Ainge
Celtic consultant Robert Parish accepting his promotion October 6th, 9:30 PM ESTBoston, MA (AP) - After three days of rumor and speculation, Celtic consultant Robert Parish has been promoted to the title of GM, replacing his former teammate Danny Ainge. Parish, nicknamed
"The Chief" during his 14 year career in Boston, was known for his stoic personality on the court along with his versatility as a big man. Because of his work ethic and conditioning, Parish holds
the record for 3rd oldest player to ever play in the league, only succeeded by Kevin Willis and Nat Hickey.
During the press conference, Parish exclaimed that he was "honored by the offer to take over as General Manager" and that he was "confident that he can acquire the pieces the team needed
to make it deep into the playoffs, and maybe even acquire a championship trophy at the same time". When Celtic co-owner Wyc Grousbeck was asked about the move, he explained that "Parish
has a good head on his shoulders and claimed that he "has done so much for this franchise already and deserves a chance to restore the Celtics to contender status"
Parish's first task will start tomorrow when he will be in charge of hiring his staff for the new year.

Chapter 1 - Decisions, Decisions...
After the press conference, Parish slouched in his chair, thinking about the responsibilities ahead of him. He realized that by taking his job, he is putting his entire career at risk. If he fails to make the Celtics a contender once again, it will leave an ugly stain on an otherwise flawless record. Could he take a team so you and inexperienced and mold them into a team that even elite teams would fear to face? He knew that he had a guaranteed All-Star in Paul Pierce and young talent in Big Al and Gerald Green, but how could he be sure that they would pan out the way he wanted them too?
Before he could even finish his thoughts, a hand reached out to him, breaking him out of his trance. It was the hand of Celtic head coach Doc Rivers, who noticed Parish inside the empty room by himself.
"What's the matter? Thinking of quitting already?" joked Rivers as Parish got up out of the chair.
Parish laughed and replied "Nah, I just realized the mess I've gotten myself into".
Both Doc and Parish laughed a few more seconds before an awkward silence filled the air. It took what seems like an eternity before Parish decided to break the silence.
"So, how do you feel about Ainge getting fired?"
"You want to know the truth?" Doc said in a hushed voice, "I feel like the organization back-stabbed him. Once he traded away Antoine Walker and the Celtics fans turned on him, the organization knew that they could use him as a scapegoat for anything that went wrong afterwards, and they've done just that by firing him!"
Parish suddenly felt sick to his stomach. Was he just as much to blame for Ainge's firing as the owner?
Realizing how uncomfortable he made Parish, Doc quickly replied "But who knows, maybe this was an omen, and you will turn out to be just what this team needed." Doc looked at his watch and realized he had to cut this conversation short.
"Well, we're counting on you! Don't disappoint us!" Doc said in a joking tone of voice and with that left towards his vehicle.
Parish hastily left the room as well. He was getting tired and figured that he would turn in early tonight. Tomorrow was the day that he would officially take the reigns of the Celtics.

Is Ricky in your future plans?
I Surely don't want to see him go.

Don't worry, I have no intentions of trading him at all this season.

Hmm, maybe Indiana would be interested in a Rivers for Bird trade.
