Actually Vl@d JAM_LEIK is not getting the error based off him changing the team name, i ran a test opened a untouched roster right when i went in i just clicked save the close then i tried to exit out and i get a error :?: might want to look into this, and thanks for the efforts there are many things not being released because they need this so thank you very much :applaud:

The problem was connected with Save As... button (it didn't work properly after I made some code and perfomance optimizations). I've already fixed that, but also should work on BankOfNames, 'cause when you do multi select/paste, Merge with previous doesn't work properly and also Resources aren't updated properly, as said above by Jao.

About bug in saving BankOfNames... hmmm... I told about it, but, actually, I made a little mistake while copeing with Save As... so, everything saves properly, at least, on the first glance...

And, yes, it would be nice to take a look onto that error. Still, I'll take a look onto that Close button inside the code. There might be... hmmm... for sure, something should be wrong with it, as it hasn't been updated for many versions... )

I can tell you, when Access violation does appear.
It appears, while the programm adjusts Names' IDs in accordance with data from BankOfNames. So, it generally happens, when the ID (it's actually some kind of off-set inside the roster) is incorrect (or it may be correct for the game, but as I don't have enough knowledge about the header of the file, it is incorrect for Editor). So, the cycle inside RED gets out of bounds of array with strings (names).

I'm, actually, fed up with telling everybody every time: ACCESS VIOLATION ERROR TAKES PLACE WHEN THE ROSTER IS INCORRECT OR WHEN YOU'VE IMPORTED SOME TEAM (from Association, Season, etc.) TO IT
Maybe custom (non-imported) teams can also lead to this error.
*Note: in 0.7 Beta1 this error may take place not depending on the situation. Use 0.6.1 and wait for Beta2.

As I described the error in all details, I tell everybody: I won't answer to posts, connected with this error, unless you confirm in the post, that you DON'T use any non-regular (which aren't in official rosters) teams, and describe step-by-step all the things you had done before the error appeared.

I tested RED. It opens all the official rosters without any trouble...

This error will be most likely fixed in v. 0.8 or 0.9

Yes I can confirm a lot of my access violations occurred with custom teams. Those rosters won't open. So don't create teams and expect the editor to work yet!

Thanks for the update Vlad. I can't wait until we can edit teams and association files. Thanks again. :bowdown:

well we are trying to edit a current team and there is no custom teams except for created players in the game, so that is not our problem, we are trying to change the OKC Thunder to the seattle super sonics :?: or because there is so many created players is that why?

With changing team name - yep, it's a bug. But, actually, not a bug, 'cause changing anything except players' names is undocumented feature )))
So, wait until team editing is implemented.

About External exception - I'll check that inside the sources.

So, I've released the new beta.
1. Save As... works now properly (it worked as Save in prev. beta).
2. A bit remade Scripting Wizard... + it's now accessible )))
3. In BankOfNames now Meging and Pasting work correctly.
4. Fixed that bug with Open - Save - Colse - Try To Exit - Error.
5. Status Bar added.

About editing team names: you can't reallocate length now in that segment of BankOfNames, but you can input shorter names.
About new poll: I wanted to add it, but some bug took place... As I edited previous poll, options started cloning lol ))) I'll try a bit later.
About old poll: I'll add simple representation of height in feet in some future version (for sure, in 0.7 Final). So, there will be 3 types: Cms, Feet (simple), Feet (Detailed).

Strange enough... it works fine for me...
Maybe you should try to go to the link through Proxy-server?

hey man, I tried the new beta with the copy and paste of my NCAA player names and it messed up the player's names again,

I dont overwrite the "2" ID field, I left that blank and started at 3 in the bank of names. The only other things I imported were the first last ID names, height (adjusted for the new way you have it now) weight and age/number.

Got the issue where the player's names were all messed up but the team names were fine.

That is my spreadsheet, the data for copying and pasting is spread out over the different sheets if you want to take a look. I always do a copy paste to remove the formulas and keep just the values before I import into the editor.

JAM_LEIK, the server checks it every time you try to do something online and if it downloads it it automatically loads it into the memory, not off the file. So online rosters cant be controlled by that file

Just select some range of cells you would like to copy (in your case, those cells, which represent player's body), then Copy and Paste them via Popup Menu or HotKeys (it works eqaully the same way as MS Excel).
Or you can create a script, using Scripting Wizard, then manually edit it a bit and apply. But for a single player it's easier to copy...

Nope, man. That was done specially in Chuvash language, because I'm a patriot (also, I have future plans for this programming language). So, it's better for you and others, who would like to use it, to study some Chuvash...
And the other reason is that Altaic languages reflect modern OOP principles more, than any other...
Actually, I could do all the program in Chuvash, but this was unreasonable, so, some parts of it in my native language is a good way, I suppose. It's not difficult to study about 50-100 Chuvash words and basic grammar (althoug, even less than 15 words are used in TURK).

Thanks man, but can you tell me the specific cells? I try body tweaks but they're all set to 0 for each player.
