Clippers Grizzlies game suspended, arena evacuated

Wed Jan 13, 2010 1:24 pm

Watching the Clippers/Grizzlies game, a message runs across the bottom of the screen saying the game has been suspended due to an emergency.

Edit- A water mane broke.

So it was only a water mane?

I thought it was something much mroe dramatic. Good to hear it's nothing too serious!

Edit:
FedExForum in Memphis was evacuated during Tuesday night's game between the Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies when a broken water main tripped a fire alarm during the third period.

Fans were told to exit the building by taking the stairs only.

The game was halted with the Clippers leading 89-77 with less than a minute to go in the third.

The game has resumed. Grizzlies have come back. 96-95 right now.

Wow, 104-102 Memphis. Despite the delay, that must have been a great game to watch. Two surprising fringe playoff teams fighting for alpha-fringe playoff team status, with the Grizzlies making an epic comeback.

Zach Randolph to the ASG!

Damn... now that Grizzlies are playing well and have over 0.500 record, I'm starting to remember how much I used to hate the team, just because Michael Heisley relocated the team from Vancouver. For a few reasons, I will usually not support teams like them or even OKC. Hoping to see the Clippers will play better than Grizzlies from now on and make a playoff.
