Speaking of sixth man, let's not forget there is Carl Landry who's my favorite player on Rockets.

+1

He's well on pace to become one of the favourites to win the sixth man award.

Landry's by far their best player. Really having a phenomenal season and a huge reason they are staying afloat. Back when the Sonics were the Sonics, I was pissed when they traded his draft rights.

Has anyone of any play style ever won a championship by themselves?

Like a few other people said he will have nights where he just dominates a game but some nights he can lose a game for you. Basicly he doesn't pass much. He's not a guy New York needs or really anyone needs you can't win a championship with one guy. I've seen Lebron carry the cavs to the finals the year they lost to the spurs but Lebron couldn't beat them by himself. Now the cavs have a real team and Lebron isn't the only scoring option. Robinson could be a great 6th man but anyone with his play style won't win you a championship by their self.

If Nate grows up and stops with the nonsense, he can be a serviceable backup. A dude who brings scoring and energy off the bench. He has great athletic skills, but his head hasn't caught up with his talent.

Just watched the second half. Awesome. Btw I got the feeling half of the spectators were NY fans lol.

On the 6th men: Varejao is also moved to the bench recently (tactical reason) but playing really well and still 30 mins.

Varejao deserves the 6th man award in my opinion but he'll never get it because what he does doesn't show up much on the stat sheet.

He also doesn't show up and be a productive bench player every night.

He also won't get it if he starts half the season like he did last year.

Carl Landry is the best sixth man of the year by far, considering he would be an MVP candidate if he played superstar minutes, and is their best player by far.

Dwyane Wade with his FT parade?

And even then, you had other players making big shots/plays to eke out the victories.
