Came across these botches on YouTube. Painful to watch, damn lucky necks weren't broken.

They were damn lucky indeed.....
Are there any possibilities of the WWE scrapping the PG madness for good ? ...Coz I am really looking forward for the WWE to reincarnate the old Attitude Era.... And also Ive seen the last episode of Raw and it was one hell of a show, it was thus far, the best Raw that Ive seen in the past two months. It truly indicates that The Return of Bret Hart is a huge step forward.I hope that Bret's Contract is not only for being a guest host for a night but instead a long term contract which will trigger up to WrestleMania or maybe longer.
Btw, have you guys ever heard about this announcement ?
I have my fingers crossed with this Game

. So hopefully this year I will have the right amount of money to purchase this game together with NBA Live 11(If there is a PC release)

No plans to scrap it according to the rumour sites but if TNA prove to be competition then they might have to re-think the approach. I'm not sure they could ever recapture the Attitude Era and I'd rather they not just rehash it, but finding a way to cater to the older fans as well as the younger ones would be most welcome. Perhaps they don't need to push the envelope as far as they did in the Attitude Era but if TNA does beat the odds and catch up to them, they're going to have to cut down on the kiddie crap. Meanwhile, according to WNW Bret Hart has signed through Wrestlemania which is why they set up an angle with McMahon on the January 4th RAW. Presumably if all goes well, he'll be able to finish up on a high note at Wrestlemania and be part of the HOF ceremonies, inducting his father and perhaps finally Owen as well.
Interesting news about SDvRAW for the PC, too.

I really hope they make a PC version of SvR. I remember IGN covering a PC version for 2006 until THQ cancelled it.
Anyways, it's the Bret Hart nostalgia week:

Steve Austin Returning To WWE To Guest Host RawWWE has announced "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will return to Raw on Monday, March 15, 2010 as the guest host.
That should hopefully make for a good episode. I'm over the guest host gimmick and haven't really enjoyed it except for a few but some have been worthwhile. Bret Hart's return was huge, Stone Cold should be entertaining and if they can land The Rock for an episode, that'll be the icing on the cake. And then, if they are merciful, they can end the gimmick.

Actually, that brings up a good point. A lot of the trademark Stone Cold antics aren't exactly PG friendly.
Wed Jan 13, 2010 6:21 pm
So I doubt that he'll bring a lot of whoop-ass with him.
Wed Jan 13, 2010 6:24 pm
oops... pg austin would suck big time... tna should be scrapped so wwe can get back to the attitude era.. pg cena is lame.. pg austin would be lamer

He will, only it'll be cleaned up.
"If you wanna see Stone Cold drink a Gatorade, give me a heck yeah!"

the hell are you talking about, WWE went PG for Linda McMahon's senate run and to try and get kids these days into wrestling.

The Attitude Era also came about because of competition, so getting rid of TNA (and the best chance of competition in years) is the last thing that needs to happen.

Did anyone here see Raw last monday? I'm not sure if it is for real or just acting but Randy Orton got really pissed off with Kofi Kingston at the end of their match. Some people think that Randy got pissed because Kofi stood up really quickly while Randy is setting up for the RKO. Randy push him and then gave him a stiff RKO.
Go to 5:00 mark and see it. Im not sure if Orton was just playing heel or real angry. Orton called Kofi stupid and something. On the 5:30 mark, Orton said fuck or something and probably there is something wrong with the ending of the match
EDIT: Someone from wrestlezone forum thinks that the ending should be a punt but Kofi stood up. Orton pushed him again but he stood up again so Randy gave him a stiff RKO.

In other Orton news:
Randy Orton Accused Of Assault On A JuvenileThe Saugus Advertiser is reporting Randy Orton is facing a court hearing for allegedly spitting gum in the face of a juvenile and swearing at him. The alleged incident took place outside a Kowloon Restaurant in Massachusetts on January 8th. The incident was reported by the 15-year-old male on January 12th.
According to the juvenile's report filed with Saugus police, Orton reacted angrily when the juvenile requested a photo with the third generation superstar. Orton allegedly spit his gum at the juvenile and called him a derogatory name. The juvenile's mother got involved as she alleges Orton said "so sue me" when she voiced her protest. Another juvenile claims to have witnessed the incident.
If it's true, then Orton really hasn't changed from the guy who was suspended for his conduct and almost got released back in 2006. If he's still pulling shit like that, someone needs to tell him that in the 21st century, the heel act can stop when the show is over.

"So sue me"

Seriously, Randy should haven't done that even if the kid did something to him. Its very unprofessional.
Thu Jan 14, 2010 9:28 am
yea I believe the WZ forum thing, it makes sense with him yelling Fuck and giving that stiff RKO (which by the way, is the best RKO I've even seen since DDP's Diamond Cutter)
You can even see randy mutter 'punt' when Kofi was standing up
Thu Jan 14, 2010 8:33 pm
yup.. and you can see him kind of shake his head before delivering the rko the kofi.. but i don't know if the punt would've generated a bigger reaction from the crowd compared to the rko
also what tyson said to hornswoggle didn't seem to be pg.. so i guess that's a good sign for austin's hosting of raw? and the miz did a great impression of jbl

It was still a little tame compared to some of the things said/done in the Attitude era but that's a fair point.
As for the Orton situation:
In regards to all the emails and Ask WNW questions we have received regarding Randy Orton on Raw this past Monday, his frustration at Kofi Kingston was legitimate. Apparently Orton felt Kingston should not have sold Ted DiBiase's forearm and had to improvise the go-home sequence.
Orton was seen on-camera shouting "stupid" at Kingston and other obscenities when he covered Kingston during the match. The former WWE Champion was vocally upset when he got to the back.
SourceBecause, you know, Orton has never made a mistake.
Fri Jan 15, 2010 10:48 am
Interesting, I've got to see the match.
Fri Jan 15, 2010 12:56 pm
um, 10 posts up?
Sat Jan 16, 2010 12:32 am

Go ahead and give me a punt.
