hey it's better than EA Sports who just didn't give a damn about us PC gamers, even when they released the PC version they didn't even have the heart since it was last-gen(PS2) which was filled with way more errors/bugs.

They complain because they pay good money for something that should work, they complain because they are lied to every year, they complain because some people act like there arent any problems with the game, they complain because the people that make the game can care less about them and just want their money. I dont think people should settle for things like this, I mean if you sell the game with the message to people that its in beta and not the best basketball game you will buy, I promise there would be NO complaints. Releasing a patch for a game is not caring about your customers, its to shut them up, making a game so you dont need a patch is caring about your customers. No ones spoiled because they are tired of getting the shaft when it comes to THEIR money.

yeah man... to be honest i have been buying nba live since 95... every year i have bought the game. Also Ive bought NBA 2k since 2005 every year and believe me with all the experience of all releases I feel this one 2k10 is by far the best. It topped 2nd best which was 2k9. NBA live has been on the market for such a long time and still they could not come up with a better game than 2k10 or even 2k9...even with all the bug problems... EAs latest releases before they forgot about us pc users were all the same, selling the same crap year after year and calling it best basketball game to me they took us for idiots which is far worse than what 2k are doing, yes i paid the money for the game and it may be bugs which are frustrating but even with all the problems to me this is the best release ever and its on pc... you dont appreciate what you have until its gone

Wow everyones so happy that they have a basketball game for the pc that they would take anything shipped in a little box. Come on people no one is crying, crying would be asking for every little thing in the game to be changed to the way they like it. Asking for the game to actually be a working game is just plain common sense. Yeah I remember the days of no b-ball on pc, but you know what that doesnt mean ill pay 60 dollars for any beta, non tested game just to satisfy my needs. 2k10 is a decent game if you completely ignore like half of the things that screw it up. Dont get me wrong, I still play it but thats only to do an association mode, and even then I stopped actually playing those games. Honestly both games are arcade games, live is just a little more blatant. Theres absolutely no defense in the game unless your playing it. And at times the game makes your player do retard things when you would normally not. No defense in a basketball game is not a basketball game, its a arcade game. The last game I played was with the cavs vs the bucks 12 minute quarters, at the end of the game the score was 167 to 209....and yet there are no problems with this game lol. How about we go online and play the game...oh wait yeah thats still not working...and on all three consoles! If you think that 2k giving you a patch is caring about you then you are dupped. The patch is to shut you up, and it doesnt fix the things they say and you can ask the people that own the other consoles. The Game came out in october....its january and its still not correctly patched? You cant seriously tell me nothings wrong with that, I mean the game was made before october...didnt they play test it?....no because they didnt care lol. Please dont confuse me with a live head because im not, I used to work in the gaming industry and I know what goes on, so as I sit here and read what you all wrote im sorry to say your all being dupped, and just to let you know 2k11 is going to be the same way just like all those before it...and they will say a patch is coming lol. Why change anything if people will still buy it as is, or argue over the fact that its the only basketball game they got.

You completely missed the point, its not complaining...when people are talking about the game it isnt complaining, and people can post here if they choose to its not your decision if they can or cannot. The patch is in the submissions stage. I am sure the holidays not help clear the queue in front of us but know that the patch is submitted and it should be a matter of a couple weeks. The PC patch is still in creation but will be a combination of this and the first patch. I will update this thread with an exact release date for PS3, 360, and PC when I have more info. - When using the Living Roster, users can now play standard Quick Games with players who are injured in real life.

- The Dunk Off trophy should now be unlocking when the requirements have been achieved.

- The Upcoming Matchups and Rebounding Leaders overlays should no longer obstruct the camera during NBA Today/My Player play.

- The camera will no longer cut away to the nosebleed cam mid-free throw during NBA Today/My Player play.

- The ‘On-Ball Defense’ column should now properly perform ascending/descending sorts

GAMEPLAY
- Further tuned the assist logic such that the CPU should be more diligent in handing out assists to players.

- Pass accuracy has been toned down for passes out of a double team, passes out of contact shots, and non-inbound full court passes.

- Addressed a rare occurrence where the referee would hold on to the ball and not pass it to the shooter during free throw shooting situations.

- CPU players are now much more selective when choosing to pass the ball while attacking the basket.

- Offensive rebounds are now much tougher to grab following missed free throws.

- When played locked, the CPU will no longer throw a full court pass following a missed shot due to the user rapidly pressing the ‘Y’ button for the rebound.

ONLINE
- Corrected an issue that was causing online NBA Today games to disconnect when a user with his/her console set to North America was playing an opponent who had their console set to Europe/Asia.

- Fixed a Team-Up divergence that occurred when users would rapidly press the ‘Start’ button during the loading screen.

- Addressed a crash in leagues that would occur when the league was using an out of date roster.

- Addressed a divergence in leagues that would occur when the league was using a custom roster and/or had a league size larger than 12 users.

- Fixed a rare occurrence where some users would experience a crash during the ‘Connecting to Host’ dialog.

- Improved connection times when attempting to connect to an opponent.

- Fixed a rare hang on the ‘Closing Match’ dialog that appears at the conclusion of a Team-Up game.

MY PLAYER
- Users who are currently in the Playoffs time period of their seasons will no longer be disconnected from Pick-Up games after the first made basket of the game.

- Addressed an issue where users would occasionally hang (often after winning the Finals MVP) when advancing past the end of the season.

- Found and addressed an instance where cloned players were still being created when users chose to change teams following the Summer Circuit.

- The NBA 2K Insider will no longer incorrectly tell the user he has an important decision to make when a decision doesn’t need to be made.

- Fixed an issue that was causing incorrect game results to be posted to the Standings when the user chose to participate in a drill immediately after a played game.

- Decreased steal success when playing My Player Pick-Up games.

- Addressed an issue that would cause the Finals celebration to occur after the third win of a series when the user finished that game on the bench.

ASSOCIATION
- Users are now able to sign free agents during the season once the player re-signing deadline has passed.

- ‘Recent Games’ scores will no longer be erased when exiting from practice.

- The commentators will no longer refer to players as having scored 0 points when that is not appropriate.

- CPU teams will now trade amongst themselves during 30-team Associations when the user has automated the Player Trading task for all of the teams.

- Fixed an issue that was causing the game to report incorrect ages for 2K Share Draft Class prospects. The prospects will no longer retire after their first season in the league.

- Addressed a rare issue where players would have some of their attributes jump to 99 when they had low morale and/or were on a team with poor team chemistry.

I agree with you that most didnt know the problems they were buying, and im not saying that everyone who bought the game likes it unfinished, im saying that they are justifying the fact that its the only one on pc they will overlook all the problems...thats my thing. Yes they liked 2k9 and they wanted 2k10 thinking it would be way better and the next step up, because I am one of those people...but with this release they honestly havent listened to a thing that the fans (us) have said. All the problems from last year are in this one and even some worse ones. Dont get me wrong, the game has alot of great features and new ideas that blow the competition out of the water...if they only worked. I will wait and see what the patch will bring, but from me to you and knowing how things work, that 2k9 patch didnt bring anything to help and neither did the patches for the other games before it, this whole "patch" thing is just a ploy im sorry to say, its how things go in the industry. Could you imagine if the new call of duty was released with the online not working for months! lol Ill leave that one for you to ponder [peace].
