NLSC Current Roster Update v3.3 Released

Thanks Andrew, really nice work.

Although I have a small problem.. I install your update on a clean install of Live 08, then I load all the roster files..

I can play a season flawlessly, although when I try playing the All Star Weekend, anything in it, slam dunk, 3 point, all star game, sophomore/rookie challenge the game crashes, it's happened to me with every release of yours..

It could something wrong I'm doing, but I need help please, as I said it's done on a clean install, I don't have any other add-ons or patches from anybody added..

thanks for the help sir andrew.. i tried removing the screens~creazone~accefeet.big file from my sgsm folder and now i can see tha away shoe preview perfectly.. thanks a lot.. w8ng for yor new udates..

but i just installed this game..
your patch was the first one i downloaded..

Sorry, everything's working fine from my end. I may be misunderstanding the exact problem; what do you mean by incorrect shoes? Are you talking about players wearing the wrong colourways for their current team or certain players wearing the wrong brand or something else entirely?.

That's a difficult one. If it's a problem with the patch I should be getting constant complaints about that but I haven't been. There's a couple of additional fixes I've made ready for 3.4 that might fix the problem though. Try copying the phil10hm.viv, phil10aw.viv, char10aw.viv, char10hm.viv, sacr09aw.viv, sacr09hm.viv, orla09hm.viv and orla09aw.viv files from the uniforms folder into the uniforms\unihalf folder.

Strange, I haven't encountered anyone in the rosters with a missing shoe texture and I'm not getting mass reports of it either. As I said before, the only reason that would likely happen would be if you've got an incompatible shoe update installed. The problem doesn't happen for me and it doesn't seem to happen to people who aren't using a shoe update (the NLSC update doesn't include any shoe updates), so I'm going to go ahead and say it's not a problem with the patch. Sorry. Try a fresh installation, beyond that I don't have anything else to suggest at this time because the problem does not occur for me.

I don't use any shoe updates (or play NBA Live 08 anymore for that matter) so I'm not sure which pack is compatible with the NLSC roster. Sorry.

Didn't you ask me this before? I'm sure I recall explaining it within the last couple of months. In any case, it cannot be done. That answer is not going to change no matter how many times the question is asked. It cannot be done, it is impossible to achieve, there's no way of doing it. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Hi Andrew, first a little mis-information from me, it looks like only the 3 point challenge doesn't work, the rest does.. Unfortunately I took my pc to switch cases, and just got it up to post.. very sorry about the info, although I coped everything from the uniforms to the unihalf folder you mentioned, I'll let you know if it works.. I know this is not the correct threat to ask, but.. do you know of any good graphics patches that you can suggest that will work with your patch that improves the graphics, unfortunately after I reformatted PC, and freshly installed nba live, the graphics are bad man.. I know I had some kind of patch before, I can't remember now off course.. I like the patch from Kris recently released, unfortunately his set the shot release time too high, so I miss every shot lol..

Andrew, just like "Bender-Add file", how can I add some missing players (Arroyo, M.Landry) to my roster without loose my edited ratings?

Basically you need to create a players.dbf and appearance.dbf file with only the players you want to add (take a copy of your files and deleting everyone else but those players is obviously the easiest way to do that) and create a batch file using the command I've used in the Jonathan Bender add-on:

"cdbflite.exe" players.dbf +jb-players.dbf
"cdbflite.exe" appearance.dbf +jb-appearance.dbf

You can obviously call your modified players.dbf and appearance.dbf files whatever you'd like, you just need to change the line in the batch file as necessary. That command will then add the data from your modified databases to your players.dbf and appearance.dbf files. You just have to be wary of things like duplicate ID numbers and ROSTERPOS values.

bekuz when i start a mode with the bulls the age of rose is 18 and i give him 80 overall
when he be a 20 age in 2009 the overall will be 87 or 90 and is not good

also i try to find in the forum a tnt scoreboard and i didnt find it

and cf of joe johnson and david lee and all the downloads have been deleted where i can find him?

You can get the age fix for NBA Live 08 here.

Please note that this does not change the starting year and the year of birth in player profiles will be incorrect. That's the only way to represent proper player ages at the start of Dynasty Mode.

I'm afraid I cannot help you with your other questions. Use the search function to try and find working links amongst recent releases.

I have that problem too sir.. when i play the 3 Point Shootout my game crashes..
hope V3.4 would include real shoe patches..

Then try the solution I posted before.

sir andrew.. i was playing dynasty mode.. but when i reach the all-star event.. the 3 pt shoot out contest crashes.. any fix for this? thanks sir in advance..

This issue is corrected by v3.4; support for 3.3 has been discontinued.
