My Player Trade

Just out of curiousity can you either get traded, demand a trade or be put on the trade block in My Player mode. Thanks in advance, any help/answers would be appreciated.

Is there really no possibility to be traded? I'm hoping, because right now i am in the rumor mill and several teams are putting their bets to get me..

i think its possible... my theory is if your doing a little low but good enough on your position battle, i think you will be traded... but dont expect that you will be traded if your averaging really great numbers because if im a GM i cant trade you, your so good.. your my future star...

I've heard of other people who got traded, even in the D-League. Someone got traded to the Dakota Wizards in march of his first season.

Well, what happens to me is, i've been in the rumor mill ever since i was become my team's starting pf, and then every other day my team traded several players with the position same as mine, like taj gibson and tyrus thomas. And after a bad game, where i think i commit 6 or 7 turnovers, all of a sudden into my next game, i was shock to see my player with a new uniform so i check the transaction report and i confirm that i was traded for Ike Diogu and Darius Songaila. I was traded with an average of A+ a game with 11ppg 8rbg 3apg 1spg 1bpg.

11pts 8reb for starting pf... a solid performance getting A+ every game but not an allstar level probably if you get 20/10 you wont be traded .. ... hey its good to be traded anyway hahahah at least that proves you have a value ahahah

Yeah it is good to know that teams notice my player and i think it is a good move for them because they 23rd place on rebounding before i got there.

Thanks for that guys, well at the moment I'm averaging a Double-double (off the bench) for Cavs (only just a double-double) and I'm 20 odd games through the seasons. I keep getting info from my 2k insider saying teams are interested but nothing has come as off yet. I'm not concerned really, more curious, I wouldn't mind a starting role and some more game time!

Yeah we already know that, but i think it is a great start for 2ksports and maybe it will be fixed and we can have a better my player mode on 2k11, just enjoy what we have right now

That stupid shit about the teams being interested happens to me too and pretty much everyone i think... Apparently (I found this on the 2k website somewhere, unfortunately can't find the link) it is just telling u that a number of teams are interested in you for when your contract runs out at the end of the season and u will have those teams to choose from. It just makes me wonder though because the insider says "THESE TEAMS" are interested in you, however we are not able to see what "THESE TEAMS" are...

Either way, just keep playing through to the end of the season and see what happens.

I think the best chance that you will be traded is if your player was put on the rumor mill..

And by the way just got my first injury report while playing. It happens after the half time.
