Salmons hits game-winner to finish off Warriors.
12/27/10 - Warriors (88) - Bulls (89)

Salmons just hit the game-winner and Cruz is rubbing it in to Tirieux.
John Salmons was on fire all night, finished with 30 points and hit the game-winner at the buzzer to lead the Bulls over the Warriors in the United Center, 89-88.
Brad Miller added 15 points and 7 rebounds while Luol Deng posted numbers all across the board with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Rookie Carl Cruz played just 14 minutes, made all the shots he took and finished with 7 points.
Cruz got the starting nod over Salmons when the season started, but as the season progressed, Cruz's inconsistency cost the Bulls a few games so coach Vinny Del Negro decided to start the more experienced Salmons instead.
Salmons has been the teams leading scorer in 6 of their last 7 ball games and 5 of those are wins for the Bulls.
Rookie of the Year front-runner, Thierry Tirieux has hit a but of a slump. He did score 18 points and grabbed 7 boards, but he shot just 6-16 from the floor (2-9 2PT FG's) and the 18 points are his highest points total in 4 games.
Stephen Jackson has been hot in the midst of Tirieux's struggles, finishing with 20 points after torching the Magic with 41 points 2 days earlier.
Stephen Curry was fouled and hit two free throws with 1.9 seconds to go, putting the Warriors up 88-86. The Bulls had a time-out remaining and they went to Salmons. Rookie Carl Cruz was also on the floor who could take the shot.
After some screens, Salmons escaped his defender and shot an off-balanced three-pointer with Thierry Tirieux in his face. Salmons didn't miss however and as the final horn sounded, the ball went in, nothing but net.
After the shot, Carl Cruz was taunting Thierry Tirieux about the shot. Tirieux remained cool and walked off the court, mumbling something in Spanish.

Wow, Klezia averaged barely 10 ppg in Europe and he got signed for 6.9 mill over 2 years? What is the Wizards thinking?

Scoring is a lot more spread out in Europe due to team game so don't usually take too much notice of stats.

Also Martti, I showed the Knicks what they are missing!

Pre-Lakers meeting
Blog entry #3
Man, we just a team meeting. Everyone was there - coach Skiles, GP, GM Kemp and Herb Kohl, the team owner.
That was nothin much, you know. They said we have to keep concentrated and stuff, cauz last year we were like 7-1 and then didn't make the post-season.
After the meeting, we were asked to leave but my man Wilson was asked to stay. He's been there for like half and hour.
I'm hearin these rumors about him being traded or him not wanting to be here. I talked to him and he said he felt good here, it's just his role. He's a good guy. I'll ask him what went on when we have practice tomorrow. Hope it isnt serious..

Ill Will does seem to be the weak link in your starting 5. You should look into acquiring a passing SF than can play D. Good luck against LA!
Mon Dec 14, 2009 6:46 am
trade for Rubio. That will open up some playtime for me
Mon Dec 14, 2009 7:11 am
megarover, nah, Jennings hates him.
Mon Dec 14, 2009 7:39 am
Kobe only 19 points?
Mon Dec 14, 2009 8:04 am
Thierry., he doesn't need to score. Gasol, Artest, Bynum and Ridnour have been awesome. He scored 6 points one game and they still won by 20.

Gasol and Artest lead Lakers over Bucks.
01/26/11 - Bucks (92) - Lakers (100)

Former Buck Ridnour getting crossed over by Jennings.
Kobe Bryant scored just 11 points, but Pau Gasol had 31 and Ron Artest added 26 to lead the Lakers over the Bucks in the Bradley Center.
Andrew Bogut led the Bucks with 21 points and 17 rebounds and Brandon Jennings added 18 points and 9 assists. Hakim Warrick also had 18 points. Michael Redd struggled with just 12 points while Wilson Chandler scored 10 points, reaching double-figures for the second time in 9 games.
Some say he has played his last game as a Buck, but nothing ha been confirmed yet.
Brandon Jennings led the Bucks charge in the final quarter, scoring 8 points in a 2-minute stretch. Andrew Bogut also had 2 lay-ups and Kyle Korver hit one of his threes.
The Bucks had come from 15 down in the fourth to just 4 points. Scott Skiles ordered his team to defend the Lakers full-court, which resulted in a near steal for Kyle Korver, but he wasn't able to save the ball from going out of bounds.
As the Bucks played tough defense for 20 seconds, Kobe Bryant drew a foul from Brandon Jennings, giving them a fresh shot clock.
The Bucks had to foul to stop the clock and Luke Ridnour sunk two foul shots with ease. The Bucks weren't able to score and Ridnour made two more foul shots to set the final score.
After the game, Ridnour wasn't cocky. He shook hands with all his former teammates, complementing Brandon Jennings for his play.

Good you listened to me about updating. Now it's time to acquire me so I can stat at the 3 for you.
Oh yeah, Artest/Gasol stepped up big time

See, if you had me, I would have shut down Artest.
