Why does NBA Live 08 look worse than NBA Live 2005???

I remember how good live 2005 look, but why now all the games after look so ugly?????I put nba live 2005 video up just to show. Why does this game look so much worse???

It's basically the same graphics engine in NBA Live 06 through NBA Live 08 as it was in NBA Live 2005, though NBA Live 2005 did have a different lighting effect. Graphics wise, I don't think NBA Live 08 PC was a step down compared to other last gen releases but it's certainly inferior in terms of gameplay and the quality of Dynasty Mode etc.

Yeah I think it's the lighting. Is there a way to re-create that lighting for Live 08???Also someone said textures in live 2005 are Twice than Live 08 is that true????

there isnt a way to recreate the lighting in 06-08. however, I actually prefer those games lightings since we can have sweat patches which are impossible in 2005.

yes it is true that mostly all textures are twice the resolution in 2005. Jerseys require daNET's jersey 2x'er thing though

You can get 2x jerseys for live 08, it just has a chance of crashing the game when combined with other hi-res patches.
