It's disheartening to read, though I'm sure the "NBA is rigged" crowd loves it. I would've liked to have seen the league play hard ball with the officials and keep the replacement officials into the regular season. For all the complaints about the replacements, were they any worse than a crew most believe to be corrupt?

I strongly agree. I would have prefer the league to keep the replacement refs into the regular season too. Like you said, they cant be any worse than some of the crew most believe to be corrupt. *cough*Joey Crawford*cough*

This reminds me of Tim Danaghy's claim about other referees playing games while on job. After that, this kinda news isn't too surprising at all... That's sad though.
