[CHNxiaoju]Nike Zoom KD 3 Preview~！

Yeah, I used his shoe patch in 2k9...it was awesome. I think he used Alby's roster last year...or, I could be wrong. CHNxiaoju, any idea which roster you might use along with the shoe patch this year? Last year we didn't have living rosters in 2k9, so this makes custom rosters a bit less necessary. But, for the shoe patch to work, I don't think we'd be able to use the living rosters since we'd copy over the shoe files. Or, am I wrong on this?

I'd like to start an Association, but I want to make sure I use a roster which is compatible with CHNxiaoju's awesome shoes patch. Perhaps the roster, as long as the player matches the .iff for the shoe in the 2K10 folder won't matter and CHNxiaoju's shoe patch will work with any roster? Any idea which roster is the best out there rights now, or is the 11/17/2009 official 2K roster update the best for now?

Can't you already create the shoe iff files? I was messing around with current roster editor and I've been able to add on new nikes without replacing the default ones.

It's interesting, actually. How did you manage to add new shoes without replacing any original? I wonder, because shoes' names should be also written somewhere (in Roster or in English.iff, I don't know yet).

PS: Don't call me Sir, dudes. I'm not even from Europe. Here in Chuvashia everybody call each other with a nice word "yultash", which translates as "comrade", "friend".

Its simple, I just rename the shoe iff file and give it a number thats not taken. Like I download Lazymacs Jordans today. I renamed them to shoe_111_00.iff, I then open up my rosters with your editor and go to the shoe selections and put brand 1, and model 11. When I go to 2k10 and open roster I now have his.


I've only tested going up to 15 and they all work. I just tried 20 and it works, going to have to look further into this because the amount of shoes that can be added may enhance the real shoe patch.

PS: Sorry, I don't know much about graphical IFF-files (never patched the shoes, actually) , that's why I can simply don't know, if they include some string.

I didn't change the name of anything, it changes by default. Like if I change it from 111_00.iff to 110_00.iff it will be under nike with a different shoe name. I think they go according to the adidas because adidas has like 16 shoes in the game.

I tried putting a shoe under 125 and it worked, 150 it didn't I just had a blank white shoe. The 125 was Nike and the model was title 60 plus which is a Jordan brand shoe.

yeah that is how can my shoe patch include so many shoes.For each brands,we can have 31 shoes.cuz the shoes must get a name.for example,187's nike pro modle 08,or nike ts ctr,adidas zoom kobe 4,and so on.

shoe patch of 2k9 and that of 2k10 is 2 different matters

So what teams have you finished? are you still teaming up with lazymac?

Wow I thought you were just changing the colors on some sneakers for 2k10 that you already created in 2k9. The rate that you are going in is pretty damn good for having to create the shoes from scratch.

Is there like a blank template you use to create shoes?
