ok A.I haters, im not a BIG iverson fan..
i got all your perceptions regarding A.I as the pathetic version of Starbury going to celtics last year..
It may sound very cliche, but A.I is no Starbury..you can never compare Him to Marbury..for pete's sake!
Talent-wise?, iverson is way toooo good to be compared to marbury...
We all know he's not a team player..blah blah blah...
but what can he offer to this team if he's going to make it?...PASSION TO WIN..
and we need guys like that...who loves the game of basketball rather than MONEY!...
obviously he wants to start because he's a compettitor..he loves to compete everytime he's on the court..
If the Zen Master is reading my comment to this, i think he'll agree..
we are the defending champions and we know what it takes to win...
Im tired of saying this but We Really Need a Player Like Allen Iverson for now..
Sign Him..and we'll see..
Spread The News and Go On!!!...
Sign Allen Iverson..
who's with me?..
Tue Nov 17, 2009 5:49 pm
Whom do you propose he starts over? I think the Lakers sort of have that shooting guard position filled...
Tue Nov 17, 2009 5:56 pm
He'll be the starting PG..we need fish to be healthy during the play-offs!
Spread the news dude!
Tue Nov 17, 2009 6:00 pm
And how do you think L.A can sign A.I ???

Are you Shannon Brown or Andrew Bynum?

I think the Lakers need Gasol to get healthy and back on the court more than any other scenario we could name at this time.
Tue Nov 17, 2009 7:52 pm
please no. the Lakers dont need him.
he should go kiss and make up with his first team. 76ers. all the way.
the other possibility, to me, is MIAMI. Rat Riley has a thing for problem cases.

I didn't know that pigs could fly.
Wed Nov 18, 2009 11:05 am
I think Artest is enough of a change for the lakers. They have some decent young guards developing, A.I. doesn't make sense.
Wed Nov 18, 2009 11:09 am
Ouch-type read.
Wed Nov 18, 2009 11:17 am
wouldnt that be a great story.... the prodigal son returns....?
who am i kidding. he'll probably go to a non-factor team, sit the bench and quit again. NY isn't a contender, if he goes there he will be frustrated because he doesn't want to play for a team that isn't winning. i actually think Philly is logical because, who would start over him? he could play point start over Williams, or he could play the 2, shift Iggy back to SF and have Young come off the bench. far fetched, i know. but hey... what do '6ers fans think of it? would you want AI back?
Wed Nov 18, 2009 3:47 pm
Yeah...like this is going to happen.
Wed Nov 18, 2009 6:30 pm
For the moment, the Knicks are still my pick to sign him.

For the sake of taking the OP seriously...

Marbury was already pathetic before he went to the Celtics.

Doubt it. Marbury is pretty talented as to be compared to Iverson. It's just that Marbury leans toward being insane.

Mark Madsen is also those things you listed, would you want him on your team?

I want to see AI back in Philly but not at the expense of Lou Williams or Thad Young being benched.

Don't you see, guys? This is genius, AI to LA.
Kobe will be benched, so AI can own to the max.

This is nuts, how do you even know that AI possesses such?
Fri Nov 20, 2009 2:28 am
Sportscenter reporting he's could be going to the knicks as early as today...
Fri Nov 20, 2009 5:04 am
If that's true, will he be bringing his personal issues to them?
