I was at the uni bar after handing in last bit of a semester long group assignment... and saw the last half of the fourth quarter. It was mad awesome.

I love One HD!

What are the odds we'll see Jawai in that one televised game?
Sun Nov 01, 2009 12:11 pm
Slightly worse than the odds of seeing Pat Mills in any of those 14 games...

Probably only likely if the game is a blowout. And Phoenix and Minnesota are probably too close for that to happen.

On the plus side, he has appeared in half their games so far. Perhaps he'll get a few minutes if Jefferson picks up a couple of quick fouls.

Im sure you're loving it Andrew, but wtf is with the non-stop chicago games?
Sat Nov 07, 2009 9:18 am
Only one I've been able to watch is the Bulls/Celtics game on ESPN...and even I didn't bother with the second half of that mess.

Well now that im done with exams i can watch all the games i want. Although i put watching Denver online ahead of the TV games. But still try and find time to watch them :p
Just watched Cavs v Bulls last night. Have a fair few in the planner that i couldnt watch during exams. Next is Spurs v jazz
Wed Nov 11, 2009 10:56 pm
Watched Houston v Dallas. Was not very exciting

Watching the Rockets in the halfcourt set (or lackthereof) reminded me of the problems of my Sunday night basketball team

Cavs v Heat should be pretty good tomorrow along with Suns and Lakers. Although as a Nugget fan i hate LA so i dont think ill watch too much of the latter.

Fuck yeah! Lakers game!

Ready for Kobe to score 40+ and dunk on Nash? I am.
CMJ3, pity I haven't seen any Nuggets on One HD this season.

Melo is on a tear.

Fuck the people who choose these games. Im so fucking sick of Cleveland and Chicago and its only a couple weeks into the season.
Thu Nov 12, 2009 6:06 pm
It happens every season. It's as if they think the only thing anyone wants to watch is a game featuring Cleveland, Chicago, San Antonio, Phoenix and the Lakers. Ideally playing against each other.
Thu Nov 12, 2009 6:47 pm
I'm guessing anyone with Foxtel and ESPN has already the ads, but it seems that if you've got sports in your Foxtel package you'll be able to make use of ESPN 360 to watch the NBA, NCAA and other sports online:
http://www.foxtel.com.au/espn360In short, we never have to miss another Scrabble tournament again.

Where do they pull chicago from? Totally goes against the NBA mentality of one player being better than anyone else.
Mind you, if its not Chicago they will probably put Heat in there...

Chicago's popularity has prevailed even a decade after the last championship though, so I guess they're catering to that. Needless to say it doesn't bother me to get a Bulls game on TV, but I can't blame you for feeling that way. If we're talking about premiere matchups in the league, they're not one of the first teams that comes to mind at the moment.

Thanks for the info on the ESPN 360 stuff Andrew, hopefully that means we'll get to see the other game of the double header that we dont get every week
And i quite enjoyed watching Denver dismantle the Lakers this afternoon
Sun Nov 15, 2009 6:49 pm
Picked up a new STB, so I'll be able to catch the One HD games as well now. Ample opportunity to get my NBA fix each week.
Wed Nov 18, 2009 10:41 am
Awesome, One HD is showing the Houston vs Phoenix game in an hour, should be great to watch! Hopefully Aussies get to watch Andersen getting a few more minutes after his last performance too.
Wed Nov 18, 2009 3:04 pm
^ I opted to watch Nuggets v Raptors instead of that...
Wed Nov 18, 2009 6:34 pm
Good game, I'm glad the Suns got back into the game and made it interesting though the Rockets' first half performance was impressive.
Fri Nov 20, 2009 11:03 am
One HD is showing 2 consecutive games starting now, the first one is Phoenix vs New Orleans, and the second game (airing at 2:45 PM) is Lakers vs Chicago.
I'm starting to realize what you guys mean by them just showing the same teams play, but it's live NBA so I'm not complaining.
Fri Nov 20, 2009 12:05 pm
Beats not be able to watch any games at all in my book. Variety would be ideal, but I don't have too many complaints with 4-5 NBA games per week.
Fri Nov 20, 2009 2:15 pm
That's because 3 of them are Bulls games
