Lol, I wanted to play cavaliers but nvm. I have a suggestion. Why don't we use hamachi first? Cause with hamachi, we can create and join one server together, then we can see who is online and who is not. From there, if you see someone online, you can chat with him and with his IP address, you can play together =) It is just to test whether u can play with one another.

George7, WE GOTA FINISH TUP10 and have a TUP10 based online tourney!

and we can have players run fraps or something and we'll have video of game highlights to post!

I'm running TUP... Not sure if playing against someone with the normal game would work so if yall do a TUP 10 one... I'd join in the fun.

Erm, I do not really know why but I've tried with George7 using the online mode and we waited for around 5 minutes. However, the thing does not seem to work. Im wondering if the patch for both of us is not the same and hence, cannot connect to each other?

Yeah me and George 7 and also redhotz tried the direct IP address approach and no luck there either....hmmm...now I'm wondering if this online play with pc works?

What you mean by hamachi IP? When I tried to connect to you, it just says

" Waiting for other players Your IP is: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX "

Then i waited for a while and nothing happens.

hey, i think i figured out something. Maybe we should not use the IP address on the hamachi.

It is shown on hamachi that my number is 5.45.0.149 and when i tried to create a direct IP game in nba online mode , my IP address is 192.168.1.66 .

And, i think that's it. Wrong IP. Maybe we should get two players, A and B. Lets say A created a game and see his IP address given in the nba online mode. Then, A can copy down the IP address and give it to B using chat and B will use A 's IP address to connect to one another.

xStoRm good idea but we already tried that...we even switched who created and who joined and I did this with both George 7 and redhotz....I'm thinking now that maybe you just can't play online anymore ...If anyone has played an online Nba Live 08 pc game lately please post and tell us what you did. Hope I'm wrong and it does work!

Hi all you frustrated NBA Live 08 gamers who can't get online,it appears as though EA has stuffed up some NBA Live 08 discs by not including the CommonEASO on the game disc which installs the EA Sports online feature into the game. I have been in contact with EA Support.com but they are'nt helping by asking the same old questions over and over and over again.

Plainly the game should have a EA Sports Online link in the game just like NHL 08 does to get you to the lobby, this however does not get installed when the EASO( EA Sports online) folder is not present on the game disc as is the case with me and probably yours too.

however...i also saw a lot of forums of people asking to play people and they exchange e-mails....but never say how they play. so its still might be possible

xStoRm, your hamachi ip must be shown in the game.
Look what to did.Open hamachi.Log in and close your router to simply don't have connection.
Open the game then and check your ip.
Your IP should be hamachi's not 192.xx.xxx.xx etc
then minimize the game,open the router again to have internet conection and you're ok.

xStoRm, yup! many times so far i only experienced 1 disconnection problems BTW i'm using The Bucks! if we would include rookies if not i'll choose Hawks

hey C-77, can you teach us how to play online then?

Game Modes>Play Online>Create(if your home) or Join(if away) if create you will be the one who will choose the quarter length and the roster depends on you! if join just type in the IP adress of the one who created the online game and i think the roster depends on the OrigDB so your gonna copy the files inside the roster and paste it on the OrigDB
