NCAA CH 2K10: courts by AmaroWaade PG 18

I've uploaded a "lite" version of the mod. It includes all required art but instead of overwriting NBA files, it uses a roster workaround. This download does NOT include the NCAA Logos.

It will overwrite the NBA 2k and 2k Sports (be sure to have these teams unlocked from the cheats menu) floors but all other NBA courts will remain unaffected.


To use this roster, load it up, goto the team select menu, and press "Rebound" to open the game options menu. Under arena scoll until you find "NCAA Arena" ignore all of the "NCAA" options. This may be updated to be easier later. (if a new REDitor comes out)


All I did was change the uniform associations in the roster, renamed a bunch of files and made a few more roster edits. All credit should still goto Byzcek and koresh_NIK for all of their hard work on getting this mod done.

So with the new tools from Vlad and the 3D tool system we should be able to make a nice NCAA mod this year. Please answer the poll and respond with general interest/offers to help/or questions.

Oooh. First to vote. I'd be interested but more out of curiousity as I don't really follow the NCAA.

An NCAA-Mod ? Very nice, but we´re still unable to edit the paintarea right under the basket . This thing makes an NCAA-Mod with the correct floortextures/colors unrealistic. Also, we´re currently unable to make a new 3-pt line arc.

If we made a real 3pt line, the 3 pointer will still be counted only from nba range. Unless we learn how to change the code

I can help but only in art files like jerseys, numbers, logos etc.

UNC has new jerseys or old because in 1st game has different thant previously season.
I have UNC and Oklahoma jerseys and numbers from previously season.
Can you write list of teams?

well there are 2 ideas for teams. We could take the top 6 conferences and take the top 5 teams from each conference. Or we can take the current top 25 schools and add 5 notables.

Ranking changes all the time so conferences are better idea.
Big East, ACC, Big 12, Big 10, Pac 10 and 5 other teams like Memphis.
Is this possible to exchange for NBA teams?
One more Q for Jao: Can you change shape of jerseys and shorts for every team e.g. higher collar and long shorts(Texas)?

Yes and Yes

We can exchange out the NBA teams without overwriting anything for them, but as of right now there is no way to change the floors without overwriting the NBA courts, so we may need to rely on texmod for the floors right now. But I'm hoping to figure out a workaround for that

We can edit the jersey and short shapes....but only for the non-moving jerseys so with player detail on medium or low. Any shorts changes will be global.

i'm not an nba fan, i've only bought the nba live series pc to download and use the ncaa mods. i'm so glad someone is trying to get a ncaa mod going. nba live tried it for a couple of years and never finished it. i'll buy whichever pc game that has a ncaa mod, whether it's nbalive or nba2k9 or 10. i've never bought the 2k series before and don't know how well you can customize it or edit the players and teams. i'm pretty computer savvy, but don't know too much on the artwork help, but i may be able to do some roster research for you. if you're going to do a ncaa mod, don't just pick and choose some of the main teams. i think if you set up the artwork and rosters for ALL of the teams in the main division 1 conferences plus the main teams in the non-main division conferences (gonzaga, davidson, butler, memphis, etc)to start with and can always add some of the lesser teams later. i'd say do all of the pac10, acc, sec, big 10, big 12, big east, the non-major conference teams i mentioned above, and especially include the top 30 or 35 in the pre-season poll.
