Brian Windhorst believes that the Cavs may be preparing to play the rest of the season without Delonte West.

On Thursday, West missed the team's game in Miami, perhaps due to a fear of flying. Coach Mike Brown said that he is ready to coach the team with or without West.

I doubt that fear of flying is the reason. He was fine so far in his previous 6 seasons.

Exactly, so it's obvious he developed a fear of flying during the offseason Sum that to the depression problems. I don't see West playing anymore.

Whatever the reason may be, he's obviously got some serious issues that need to be worked out. Seems getting them straightened out before anything else would be the right thing to do and the Cavs will just have to press on without him for now. If he's able to play later in the year, great. If not, they've still got a team that should be able to contend if they're in sync.
