Change your crowd size. updated

Wed Nov 11, 2009 11:18 pm

Though their is an official patch from 2K that gives dynamic crowds that do not take effect until the next season
or something like that and it is not that visible the change, i made two new crowd.iff files that give two
crowd attendance's. Their not dynamic but hey this is a recession year, everyone haves sucky attendance.

someone asked for a crowd size that would make a team file for bankruptcy, so here ya go http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?e2deonndz24

this would be considered 70 percent full http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ymxjyktliod

Also, you have to back up your crowd.iff file just in case you want the normal 2k attendance.

so wait, would there be any option to switch between the crowd size or would i have to copy the xx% iff file over and over again to adjust it for every signle game?

what i want to say is - if for example i wanna play lakers vs. celtics and i wanna have a full crowd attendance and the other game where i'm playing nets vs. bobcats where the attendance is around 40%, would it be possible to quickly change that in some way, or would i have to do as stated above?

the answers are:

This is not dynamic and i which i could find a way to edit it via hex if i knew where that address would be. to change crowd sizes,
you would have to quit the game, change crowd files then reload.

Jao,

what i did is sorta similar to what was done with Mvp baseball 05, using the nba2k10 modtool by Kenkaian and importing into 3dsmax.
i move two people meshes fully out of view and reimported it.

oooooooo

nice workaround (Y)

we did that in Live PC as well, just with blank textures since every crowd member uses the same model

FYI, this can also be done in mlb2k9 but they do a good job on attendance dynamics.

Dynamic attendance which was included in the roster update works for me in NBA Today games though. I think that's pretty cool.

great job thesainted... this will make the game more realistic... for some reason i like playing Nets, Kings , Wizards and 76ers...and this would definitely give me the feel of their games ... and maybe lessen the crowd sound and there you go!!!! can't wait to play later... again great job!!! appreciate it. thnx

Can you edit the sideline character? I want the low settings in 2k9 with only coach, dancers, janitor and mascot only, unfortunate there's no option in 2k10 besides on/off.

I have a crappy pc, so I really need this

2K should really change it the crowd size. Crowd Size should be based off the team because every team has a crowd size of a Playoff game.
Most teams have really small crowd like the Nets, Grizzles, Bobcats, etc. but other teams like the Lakers, Blazers, etc have larger crowds
