I have seen alot of different config files here and and on the internet.

My main problem is that no one has any proof that there configs work.

I have not seen any Fraps screens or Old and New Screens.

They just claim to get a boost.

Plus every system is different some people have 1 core 2 cores or 4 cores.

Most systems I see the problem is the Graphic Card.

Spend money on CPU and Graphic Card <---- most important.

Plus no one actually explains what each setting does.

You are absoultely right. Without proof, its nothing but "voodoo-tuning", which means it is subjective.

Well i replaced my 2K10 with my 2K9 Config file and i'm now getting 55-60 FPS. Most of the time 60 FPS but drops now and then. (lowest 55 FPS)
My Player mode, i get a full 60 FPS. On 1400x900
8x AA
Player Details -Medium (Same thing as high)
Stadium - High
The graphics even seem better with the player details set at medium. I also set off sideline characters. Just the guys in the bench and the coach. Its not like i watch the whole timeout

Before i was getting around 20-27 FPS on games at High Setting, Sideline Characters on, Player character High, Stadium and Crowd to Medium.
It was really annoying since i have a pretty decent system for gaming. I run every game on the market at high settings 1440x900 resolution pretty decent (except Crysis)
Here are my specs
AMD Athlon Dual Core 6000+
3GB RAM
Sapphire 4830 HD (Personal Overclocked to 600 MhZ)

Why not try editing the config file yourself and see if it works or not personally instead of depending on other people's settings.

You could still test/experiment with the settings yourself and initiate that idea. As you said, those people who post "it works! try it!" don't have any proof to back the said improvement.
