I have finished the summer and I'm going to post updates in not a very good order. First up is the FA period.
-----------

Many wanted free agents winded up in the other conference.
Top 10 Free Agent Signings of 2010
1. Ray Allen - San Antonio Spurs.
Previous team - Boston Celtics
The Spurs won the title, but lost their starting SG Roger Mason to the Clippers. With the addition of Ray Allen, the Spurs are even stronger then last year. They now have Tim Duncan, Richard Jefferson, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Ray Allen - probably the strongest 5 you can find. The Spurs rotation looks like Manu, like last year, would come off the bench with Ray Allen starting. This may be a problem in the long term, as Ginobili still wants 30+ minutes. They also added Bobby Jackson, so Manu could be done in San Antonio.
2. Luis Scola - Boston Celtics.
Previous team - Houston Rockets
As the Celtics added Rasheed Wallace last year and he was bumped into the starting line-up, the Celtics now have Kendrick Perkins and Luis Scola to back up oldies like Rasheed and KG. They did lose Ray Allen, but Rajon Rondo has become much better over the summer. Their starting SG should be Flip Murray, if they opt not to deal for an upgrade.
3. Marcus Camby - New Jersey Nets.
Previous team - Los Angeles Clippers
As the Clippers drafted Blake Griffin in 2009, their front-court became a bit crowded with Camby and Kaman there. Camby opted for free agency and landed in New Jersey. As a free agent, Camby was the best free agent available. The Nets got a defensive presence to mentor Brook Lopez, who can still play for a reasonable price. But Lawrence Frank announced, that they will use a starting line-up of Camby and Yi, leaving the youngster Lopez to the bench. This after a season, where Lopez averaged nearly 19 points and over 10 boards. The season also involved an All-Star appearance. Go figure..
4. Kyle Korver; Rafer Alston - Milwaukee Bucks.
Previous team - Utah Jazz; New Jersey Nets
Last season wasn't great for Korver in terms of playing time, with even some DNP in the box scores next to his name. So leaving Utah was obvious. As he hit the market, the Bucks were in need of a back-up guards. They allowed Adam Morrison and Derek Fisher to walk. Fisher wanted to end his career in a contending team, but might retire if no good contract-offers come along. The Bucks offered contracts to Rafer Alston and Kyle Korver to fill the vacancies. Both accepted. They got both for the money they saved for not re-signing Fisher and Morrison. This gives the Bucks a much stronger back-up guard rotation then last year and who knows, perhaps even a playoff-spot?
5. Chris Duhon - Sacramento Kings.
Previous team - New York Knicks
Duhon was last year's most improved player, averaging over 22 points per game and left the Knicks for the Kings. He was the best PG available, but the reason he is ranked only fifth below the Bucks' signings, is because of the crowded back-court the Kings have now. They still have Beno Udrih and last year's 4th pick of the draft Tyreke Evans. The starting position is Duhon's, but could be in the hands of Evans maybe even next year.
6. Mike Miller - Philadelphia 76ers.

Good update and great additions in Korver and Alston.
I also have the "non-clickable / clickable" in my association, the Facebook-Twitter-MySpace buttons... just makes the layout look a little more like a real article.

MVP...JERMAINE O'NEAL??

Curry was last year's 7th pick by the Warriors.
Warriors get first pick, Bucks 11th.
The Golden State Warriors only won 6 games last season (think of it as 17 wins in a 82-game season) and managed to get the first pick of the 2010 NBA draft.
The Warriors had the best chances to win the first pick and were able to do so for the first time since 2004, when Orlando got the first pick. They picked a youngster called Dwight Howard straight out of High school, so maybe the Warriors will have just as much luck.
Chicago jumped from the fourth spot to the second. The Bulls struggled and won just 10 games (28 out of 82), despite having Luol Deng for the full season. Now, another rookie will be joining the "Baby Bulls", who got Taj Gibson and James Johnson out of the 2009 draft and Derrick Rose from 2008.
The Milwaukee Bucks didn't jump up from their 11th spot and will pick 11th overall. This a bit of a bad spot, as most mock drafts separate 10 players from the rest, a mix of promising players from all over the world.
Top 12 picks :

------------------------------------------
On the day of the lottery, the Washingon Wizards send a trade request to Shawn Kemp, who read this message from his iPhone :

The Bucks though about it and with the acquisition of Kyle Korver and the loss of Kurt Thomas, the Bucks accepted.
"We feel this trade helps our team a lot. With Andrew (Bogut), Hakim (Warrick) and Dan (Gadzuric) and now Andray, we feel we have one of the deepest front-courts in the league. We want to thank Charlie for his work with us over the last 4 years."
Blatche is expected to come off the bench.

ok Golden State now just draft me and you'll have the deadly Latvian duo on your roster

too bad you didn't get higher pick than 11th, cause usually it's hard to get big players this low (well at least for me it is).

newc, yeah it's unfortunate for me. There are 10 NLSC-ers, I've edited them that they are the top 10 and I'm the 11th.
Can anyone help me convert Live 08 jerseys to Live 06?

Thierry Tirieux strikes a pose with his new jersey.
No surprises with the draft, Thierry Tirieux number 1.
NY - The Golden State Warriors, despite some problems in the team, didn't shock the world and picked the best prospect available, Thierry Tirieux from Argentina.
Despite that, Tirieux may not get to start early in the season, as he has to prove himself to Don Nelson. He has to steal minutes from Stephen Jackson, Corey Maggette, Kelenna Azubuike, Anthony Morrow and Bonzi Wells, who was signed last season.
Compared to Manu Ginobili by scouts and his coach in Argentina, Tirieux led Argentina to the World Championships silver medal with Ginobili, Nocioni and Scola, leading the team in scoring.
Tirieux scored 21 points in the final against USA, but the Argentinians had to walk off the court with a 116-87 defeat. He was named to the All-Tournament team with Derrick Rose (USA), Dwyane Wade (USA), Luis Scola (ARG) and Yao Ming (CHN).
The Chicago Bulls drafted a combo-guard Carl Cruz out of Duke. Cruz is expected to spend most of his time at the 2-guard spot, as there are Rose, Hinrich and Pargo already there.
He has been nicknamed "The Next AI", as he is also a 6'0 guard, who will be playing SG. Just like Iverson, Cruz is extremely quick, has amazing ball-handling abilities and has an instinct to get steals. The following content is exclusive to ESPN Insiders; Become an
